Whaaaat? Greece spends itself into bankruptcy, elects a Socialist Government and demands the EU bail it out. How is this the fault of the "evil EU"?

Why is the EU evil? The action proposed might be draconian in the short term, but the long term must be defended by the union.
The EU is an experiment and must and will be tested. The tests will determine if change is possible or needed.

Without the EU, Greece would still be a third world country, with dirt roads and crap infrastructure. Greece can thank the hundreds of billions of dollars worth of free EU money(mostly thanks to the Germans), that brought Greece from it's 3rd world status to its first world status today.
California is our Greece. They are running out of money and will our feds make the other states cover for them or force them to make cuts?

Greece is run by George Papandreou, a marxist. The terrorists are marxists (and were the most successful killers to avoid capture in Europe. The ETA, BMG and IRA were rolled up long before any dent was made in the Greek terrorists).
Don’t expect “all quiet on the Greek front” to happen. The Left won’t let it, even if they have to attack and kill both the ruling marxists and the capitalists.
