People think IN is conservative, but it’s last steadfast conservative senator was a man named Homer Capehart, unseated in the 1962 JFK mania by Bayh, Sr. Quayle just allowed himself to be presented as a national joke.

"What you are witnessing is the breakdown of the Democrats in to the DEMOCRATIC PARTY, vs. THE DEMOCRAT MARXISTS PARTY."

Fascinating, given Evan's daddy ran Left of Mao in the 1976 presidential primaries...

Something is up here.

No, something is down here. Namely the chances of incumbent Democrats winning reelection this year.

From my memory (and it might be faulty), letting (and in fact recruiting) out-of-state college students to vote int he primary, disallowing primary votes in rural districts (pro-Hillary), letting every black guy and his brother vote twice in the cities when they could get away with it.

He only won by 5000, but these are the tactics which helped him win. A couple thousand in Bloomington, a few hundred in South Bend, a couple thousand in Gary, and voila...Obama wins.

"No, the dems can slate a candidate for November at their Party Congress in August. This is not an unopposed seat."

Yea, but their choices now are to raise the dead or put up a loser like Kernan...bad voodoo either way...

Because in this climate, with all of the stupid things they’ve done, it’s starting to look like EVERY Dem could get creamed. If Larry Kudlow has the guts to challenge Schemer, then I say good for him.

It’s a very simple theory.

When the American people have their back to the wall and can’t use fair elections to express their wishes, what do you think they will do? Will they sit and accept an 0banana Republic status or will they fight for their beloved country and revolt?

A civil war is a disaster. It never ends as quickly as it starts.

Bayh saying he liked an executive job was tantamount to an announcement that he is running for President in 2012. The person who must be really mad is Hillary because she has been preempted.

Unless he has some John Edwards baggage, Bayh will be a candidate in 2012.

“Larry Kudlow might be a force if he gets in....it’d be sooooo sweet to see Schumer fall. “

Oh, you betcha he’d be a force! But until a high profile candidate (like Larry Kudlow) throws his/her hat into the ring, this one’s a cakewalk for the Schmuckster.

Run Larry, Run!!!

Actually it helps Hillary, she can legitimately throw her hat in once the stalking horse (Bayh) has opened a primary against Bambi.

Now wouldn’t that be the icing on the cake?

If the state Republican committee has half a brain, it has mobilized teams to get this done for her. The article says she still needs about a thousand. That’s just 100 people getting 10 each. Doable.

Knowing the D’s are working against her and have a huge stake in her not coming up with the signatures, she’d better have a very secure plan for seeing that nothing happens to those signatures before they’re filed tomorrow.

That would be great. I’d love to see Bayh and Obama destroy each other.

Geesh, he wouldn't be running for #2 this time, plus he's about $984 million short of a serious run against Bobo.

I enjoyed Kudlow's Meet The Depressed appearance, but his 'suggestions' confirm he's another monist and a statist ("Skrewel boards are running out of money! Oh noes!"); so yea if I gotta have $oros in drag, I'd rather have Giuiliette.
