PHOENIX, ARIZONA. FEBRUARY 14, 2010. Presidents Day will be the day an almost-President will formally feel a hard charge from his right.
Conservative former Congressman and talk radio host J.D. Hayworth will announce his campaign for the U.S. Senate, a seat now held by the 24-year incumbent John McCain, at Hayworth's new campaign headquarters in Phoenix.
Republican stalwarts, Team Party patriots and a few surprises will be on hand.
The Hayworth campaign will also launch a Money Bomb on Monday too. Details about this online fundraising effort can be found at www.JDforSenate.com, which formally debuts with Hayworths announcement.

If it wasn't for McCain there wouldn't Sarah but, I already repaid him by voting for him in 2008. Made me sick!
This doesn't change how I feel about Sarah even with her backing McCain, and if JD wins, people will know that we vote for the Conservative no matter who supports the rinos!
Believe me, in her heart she will be happy if McCain loses.
This may put even more fear in the Republican Party not to back rinos!
I love Palin(still support her), but please don't go see her at a McCain rally! By all means see Palin anyplace else, this will send a message!
I have been informed that the McCain/Hayworth Primary will be on Aug 24. We have time to nail that turkey to the wall!

Great suggestion. =]
“If it wasn’t for McCain there wouldn’t Sarah but, I already repaid him by voting for him in 2008. Made me sick!”
Interesting way of looking at it. Yes, McCain owes conservatives for supporting him in the slightest. Now he’s making Palin jump through this hoop. He owes her for keeping him from a worse spanking in 08, and he owes her even more now.
interesting idea.
A vote against Obama never was a mandate for McCainiacism. I voted for Sarah, but mostly against BO.
Palin on Borders:
Palin: we need to close the borders. They are called illegal aliens for a reason and if they are not going to follow the rules they should not be in our country.
Its pretty simple I ratched that one down to the simple answer because its an easier answer than some politicians want it to make it be. you close the borders. You get more agressive about cracking down on the illegal aliens and we take it serious what our border patrol officers are trying to do

Lars Larson radio talk show
LARS: The amnesty proposal that was defeated in Congress in your view, was that amnesty for illegals and would you back amnesty for a path to citizenship, as the current president calls it?
SARAH PALIN: No, Im not for amnesty. Lets ratchet this down quite simply to remember what were referring to. Illegal aliens are called illegal for a reason. We need to secure our borders and I am not for amnesty. And there are humane ways to deal with the 11-13 million illegal aliens who are in our country right now, but if theyre not going to follow the rules, they need to get out.
I've heard similar sentiments from another AZ resident.
Even if JD doesn't win, the fact that he has the kahones to mount a serious challenge McCain is worth supporting.
Have to agree with your assesment. It should be incredibly interesting if amnesty is going to be a central issue in the primary.
I'm always behind in my reading. But, eventually, I get around to important, relevant stuff...
I couldn’t vote for Sarah ‘cuz I knew that a vote for Sarah was a vote for Juan McCain. HE was leading the GOP ticket, not her.

McCain versus Hayworth the Global Warming Denier:
“While McCain was unwilling to challenge Hannity, he has done it before. During the last presidential campaign, he refuted a global warming denier [youtube provided].”
[McCain] is likely to keep his distance even more over the next six months due to a primary challenge from conservative former Republican congressman and global warming denier, J.D. Hayworth. I believe his famous quote is, I dont see how you can be a conservative and not support cap and trade, Hayworth said, adding, Well, I sure can. And most Arizonans can. [snip]

I tell you what, America needs a break from Obama and soon. If we don’t unify in 2012, that would be scary. The time to fight McCain always has been and always will be in the primary, not the election.
McCain that is.
I once heard that Rove called W and told him that McCain was switching parties to which W replied, “He is going to be a Republican again?”
TY for adding that. I saved it in my Palin file.
She has to explain how tough she wants that path to citizenship to be. There is room for Sarah to get tough, or to balance toughness with humane enforcement. On the other hand, you might be right. We need to nail her down on this issue.
