Former Vice President Dick Cheney said he hasn't made up his mind who he will support in the 2012 presidential election. When asked if he thought Sarah Palin was qualified, he punted. ---
Is Sarah Palin qualified to be president? Former Vice President Dick Cheney answered that question with an artful dodge this morning when he appeared on ABC's This Week.(see video below) "I haven't made a decision yet on whom I'm going to support for president next time around," he said to host Jonathan Karl. "Whoever it is is going to have to prove themselves capable of being President of the United States."
"And those tests will come during the course of the campaigns obviously," he continued. "I think all of the prospective candidates out there have a lot of work to do if in fact they are going to persuade a majority of Americans that they are ready to take on the world's toughest job."

Tell that to the 0bama supporters. They gave 0bama the biggest victory margin in the presidential elections since Reagan, based on empty talk of “Hope and Change” and 0bama being a “clean, well spoken negro”(and I am quoting Joe Biden here).
If being a policy wonk and an egg head is what got people the presidency, Dick Cheney would hav been president instead of Bush. How much foreign policy did Clinton, Bush or 0bama know when they wee elected president?

You are wise to do so - trust your own gut that is. I decided to move on and leave Cheney to the past when he endorsed KBH for Governor of Texas. And, let’s not forget that he has a daughter who has political asperations. So, when Cheney speaks, it would be prudent for all of us to keep in mind that he is pushing his own personal agenda which may or may not be aligned with yours - or mine.
You know that and I know that, but how can we stop the media?
They will always do what they do best, shape political landscape as best they can.
It's going to be up to the candidate to overcome that.
If he had given any endorsement now it would be used against him later. Plus, if he steps aside who is to say that Bush would have selected anyone worth considering in 2008? His record on appointments was mixed to say the least.
And, we were not going to avoid this disaster no matter who was running on the R side. The financial issues and Iraq had pretty much made a Dem election a fait accompli. Yes, Iraq was going in the right direction but the public was rather tired of it and the financial damage from housing and financial corruption was going to be blamed on whomever was in office.
You have to look at the total picture. She’s the only true conservative on the list right now.
Keeping promises to past political allies only adds to her integrity.
IIRC Liz is/was in Sarah’s court...Maybe he knows if he comes out supporting her he is just adding another circle to the target on her back.

Anyway you look at it, it was a huge mistake not selecting someone as VP who could carry the torch.

The FIRST conservative candidate (hopefully running)after REAGAN! That's what Americans see!
