Former Vice President Dick Cheney said he hasn't made up his mind who he will support in the 2012 presidential election. When asked if he thought Sarah Palin was qualified, he punted. ---
Is Sarah Palin qualified to be president? Former Vice President Dick Cheney answered that question with an artful dodge this morning when he appeared on ABC's This Week.(see video below) "I haven't made a decision yet on whom I'm going to support for president next time around," he said to host Jonathan Karl. "Whoever it is is going to have to prove themselves capable of being President of the United States."
"And those tests will come during the course of the campaigns obviously," he continued. "I think all of the prospective candidates out there have a lot of work to do if in fact they are going to persuade a majority of Americans that they are ready to take on the world's toughest job."
You didn't think you'd get a yes or no on that question, did you? Come on

Sure, one of the guys I align the most closely with would be Duncan Hunter. I also like Michele Bachmann’s positions and she’s proven to be very tough as well. I think Pence and DeMint might fit the bill as well although I need to study them a little more closely. Sarah would be another.
You people have to be more aware of the headline-grabbing media ploy to 1). put Sarah Palin's name in a headline 2). make anybody's comment about her seem like a slam.
The MSM is in dire straits and they've figured out that nothing gets them web clicks like stories involving Gov. Palin.
Non-story, no one of importance would endorse someone this far out, the media know this, but they can’t help themselves when it comes to being stupid.
The headline is incorrect for starter’s and I thought Cheney gave a very good answer to the inappropriate question.
He has spent his life around really smart women — Lynn and now Liz. I’m sure he would want to endorse somebody of their caliber.
I wonder if Dick Cheney is running for President in 2012.
The only difference is we would have had a different candidate other than McRino. The people wanted to try a Democrat as President...people thought they were sick of a republican in the WH...so without studying the matter they elected this commie thug who is deranged and probably isn’t even eligible to hold the office.
I think we already have a president with those unique qualifications. Not enough next time around.
There were so many areas of vulnerability with Obama, which could have become huge gaping holes of defeat, that neither McCain nor anyone else even touched. (Palin did but she was stifled.)
I believe a hard hitting conservative could have attacked Obama in ways that would have revealed his spectrum-wide fallacies and led to a very different result at the polls.
After all, Bush helped our defeat because of his liberal behavior, defining conservatism as something it’s not. Conservatism will always win if presented in a fearless, straightforward manner.
I am woman too. I am more concerned about my beloved country than the advance of someone of my gender. And, by 2012, we are going to be a country in a world of hurt. The decision of who is to be president must be made with greatest seriousness, not by interest in breaking the glass ceiling.
I like your "others" ;)) and appreciate you responding.
I remember Dick Cheney as Sec. Defense under Papa Bush during Operation Desert Storm. Was impressed with him and later hoped he would run for president.
I think Cheney was the best V.P. in my lifetime. Another was Harry Truman. I notice the Dems never mention Truman....I wonder why? NOT! lol
Ask the thousands+ plus that waited on line!
Why does it bother you so much that AMERICANS love a PATRIOT with a spine. America’s been missing one for 20+ years. Seems you don’t know the difference between loving a PATRIOT and worship.
Appears all YOU know is about worship. Says ALOT about you or rather confirms it.
Go Sarah! AMERICA’S PATRIOT!
Maybe we should start expecting a little something out of Hayworth.
Palin’s campaigning for McCain really amounts to nothing.
It doesn't. Fawning worship bothers me. Does it bother you?
Says ALOT about you or rather confirms it.
"Alot" isn't a word.
then what’s his excuse for that RINO chick in TX?
It will be much more comfortable for you if you continue to see substantive grassroots support, based on policy and character, as “fawning worship.”
That way, you won’t have to face the difficult truth.
“Fawning worship bothers me.”
Then, I would suggest you stay away from mirrors.
all of this talk is background noise and filling articles space, we ALL will pretty much find out who is and isnt qualified when they start campaigning and especially in the primary debates-where the rubber meets the road- thats why i dont count sarah out, because her political enemies in Alaska said that when folks underestimate her thats when she truly shines, and yes there are many who do like her but are uncertain, but that is not necessarily a bad thing because if she shines and delivers vs Mitt or others, i believe that they will break for her and the MSM will be shocked at the momentum swing........dont underestimate her folks
Fawning worship
I REPEAT - you don’t know the difference between loving a Patriot and worship. You think BHO’s crew was worshipping him because of his patriotism? LOL! I know your deal is to slam, but at least have something first.
“Alot” isn’t a word.
It is to me! Besides that’s pretty rich coming from someone who is clueless to the difference between Patriotism and worship. Cut down on watching CNN/ABC/CBS - it shows, Mr.PotatoHead! Wanna buy an ‘e’?
