Defeated just two years ago as the Republican presidential candidate and with his bonafides as a true conservative again being challenged, John McCain finds himself in a struggle to get even his party's nomination for another term in the Senate.
Conservatives, independents and Tea Party activists are lining up behind Republican challenger and former talk radio host J.D. Hayworth, reflecting a rising tide of voter frustration with incumbent politicians. Only 40 percent of Arizonans have a favorable view of McCain's job performance.

The heating pad thingy is as close to a miracle as I have come across. Use for 2 days.

(on that note: Is Juan a kind of sidewinder preparing this latest outrage fueled by connections to Big Pharma? Perhaps banking on SOCIALIZED MED being passed & made into law along with his bill to restrict/outlaw health store products?) I kinda doubt it. Recall that McCain spent 12 years chairing the Senate Commerce Committee.
And, somehow, he managed to spend those twelve years without learning a single damn thing about the businesses he was regulating. His wife knows far more about business and economics than he does.

I don’t know about Hannity, but Limbaugh, Levin and Savage will.

Thank you for the advice on the pain, brother. Think I’m going to pop the Ibuprofens, get out the thermal pad (as stephjohnbanker suggested) and grab some Jack Daniels, then watch an old Bogart or Cagney movie or two on DVD.
And I’ll give whatever little bit I can to J.D. I’m a victim of Obamanomics (wife is actually) right now, so we’re tight. But we’ll do our part here in PA...
I’m off for the evening, gents. Nice commisserating with you all! And thank you for the pain advice. (it’s a bitch getting older, for sure). As always, the best folk are out here on FR...

LOL You go from praising Brown as a presidential wannabee in 2012, to praising the Founders for their creative original intent. The latter is all well and fine. The idea that Brown wants 49 versions of RomneyCare is not fine and that was part of my point. In that regard, what Americans might get in the end is something no better then ObamaCare.
BTW, GO JD!

Savage has been on fire all week and I hope he will invite Haworth on the show. He has a simulcast now, sports station in Bay Area!

I'd sure like to hear Haworth--have read some of his blogs and he appears very straight forward explaining the problems and the solutions he offers.
You know how crazy (like a fox) Savage is, and some people just will not respond to an offer to be on. Then he complains lol.
He even had stinking Schumer on back when GB wanted to give Dubai the use of our ports on the east coast (& down in Galveston) The only reason for Schumer's appearance was because he was very much against it.

JD is a doctrinaire conservative with a 97.5 conservative rating. I think he and Savage would make for a great show.

Well with the things his daughter is saying and his record of being a very liberla Republican I’m not surprised.
To: meadsjn
I do worry if Hayworth beats him in the primary if McCain would scr*w us all over by voting for things we don’t like?
To: stephenjohnbanker
Yeah, Hannity can get loyalty-fuzzies too easily. I hope he overcomes that.
