Interview with Sarah Palin (Palin *NOT* for Amnesty)
Univision ^ | October 26, 2008 | Univision

To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?
I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.

The Obama faction is getting ready to push hard for amnesty. And, as usual, those of us who have fought them off every time they’ve tried it are going to have to spend our energy and time and resources fighting off the phony Republicans at the same time. This thread makes it obvious. Nothing’s changed.

I’m outta here. Nothing left to say.

Sarah has my vote. She is a conservative.

A conservative that would allow the amnesty of enough socialists to make her irrelevant for the rest of America's future.

My position with America’s Independent Party is an unpaid one, by the way.

You don't recieve any benefits such as meals, equipment or services in your home, travel, expenses, no cash of any kind?

How about telling others you have a vested interest in seeing Palin NOT nominated?

I'm glad you're outa of here, and if it were up to me, I'd say STAY THE HELL AWAY!

He’s running for reelection to the Senate. And a vote for McCain is a vote for amnesty. Hence the tagline.

What’s creepy is you trying to pass yourself off as having no self interest against her running....when in fact you are her opposition.

As usual, you twist my words. I never said we weren’t running a candidate.

I don't get you, I said that "You literally have a candidate in this race"

Then you replied to me that "No I don't."

This is a battle between your party and Governor Palin, you DO have a candidate in this race.

You’re the bastard who keeps his identity hidden and the fact that you are officially charged with a mission to derail Palin hidden from other posters, not me.

Do not alter titles of articles when posting.

Do not post opinion pieces in activism

If you wish to post your opinions, post as a vanity

I may have accidentally altered the title of the posting; my apologies.

Ask Jim Rob, activism is opinion. Please tell me the difference. I posted a politician with a leftist view that contradicts our rightward view.

This wasn't a vanity because I didn't write the article; I posted - exact, in one piece with a link, the article as found - the entire linked article.

Sarah has my vote. She is a conservative.

I see a lot of potential in Palin. I think that in the end, she may make an excellent VP for a more established conservative Republican.

It will be interesting to watch her in the upcoming 2010 Congressional elections, to learn more about who she supports (and doesn't) and how she handles the ever increasing attacks (from both sides).

If this thread is any indication, the people currently in power (and the single issue extremists) on both sides will be gunning for her.

Using the phrase "follow the rules" can mean too many different things. What if the rules were changed to allow them to stay? They are not following the rules now which is why this statement of hers is misleading.

From Obama's STOU address:

"And we should continue the work of fixing our broken immigration system -- to secure our borders and enforce our laws and ensure that everyone who plays by the rules can contribute to our economy and enrich our nation.

For those not familiar with the code words surrounding amnesty, terms like "get to the back of the line," "pay a fine and learn English," and "an earned path to citizenship" are code words for amnesty. So is "play by [or follows] the rules," which means that we will only deport illegal aliens with criminal records.

December 2009

Lars Larson radio talk show

LARS: The amnesty proposal that was defeated in Congress — in your view, was that amnesty for illegals and would you back amnesty for a path to citizenship, as the current president calls it?

SARAH PALIN: No, I’m not for amnesty. Let’s ratchet this down quite simply to remember what we’re referring to. Illegal aliens are called “illegal” for a reason. We need to secure our borders and I am not for amnesty. And there are humane ways to deal with the 11-13 million illegal aliens who are in our country right now, but if they’re not going to follow the rules, they need to get out.

We refute the basher’s Left Wing talking points and then
the Palin bashers try the Alinsky mode.
