If three fifths of the British population is fed up then why don’t they rise up, throw every politician and worthless government employee out on their ears, declare all the stupid laws null and void, and take back their country.

They willingly gave up their guns, remember? They're now at the mercy of the leftists, the muzzies, and the Clockwork Orange crew.

Well, with what they’ve allowed to happen in their own country, I’m not in favor of them emigrating here.

It depends who. I'm all for taking in refugees who have been persecuted by the Crown or a British employer for defending their own homes, turning in a gun they found (being charged with possession of a firearm for taking it to the police station), complaining about Muslim students making slurs against Christians and Jews, offering to pray with a family, or otherwise suffering from any of the other politically correct, multicultural lunacy reported out of the U.K. lately.

We should grant them political asylum as a matter of course.

I'm not being selective here - Christians, Jews, Muslims, Taoists, Budhists ---all of them. I happen to think that we're full up and don't need them.

If you want to be humanitarian and support politically oppressed foreigners do so through charity. I just don't think it is a matter to support them through taxes (and it ends up in one form or fashion, they get 'assistance' from the public trough.

We are suffering the weight of the millions of this world while still trying to fight off the Dhimmi leftists in this country and our 'generosity' ends up increasing their number.
