The “Miss Me Yet?” billboard (inspired by Jonathan Maney’s t-shirts) is cute. But let’s not get carried away with nostalgia.
President Bush put America on the proper war footing after 9/11 and deserves much credit for doing so, but he also:
1) joined with open-borders progressives McCain and Kennedy to try to force shamnesty down our throats;
2) massively expanded the federal role in education;
3) championed the Medicare prescription drug entitlement using phony math;
4) kowtowed to the jihadi-enabling Saudis;
5) stocked DHS with incompetents and cronies;
6) pushed Hillarycare for housing;
7) enabled turncoat Arlen Specter;
8. nominated crony Harriet Myers to the Supreme Court;
9) pre-socialized the economy for Obama by embracing TARP, the auto bailouts, the AIG bailout, and in his own words:
“I’ve abandoned free-market principles to save the free-market system.” – George W. Bush
No, I don’t miss having a corporate socialist Republican in the White House any more than I like having a corporate socialist Democrat in the White House now.
Nothing you say is intelligent, instructive, logical, or well sourced.
The fact that you hate George W. Bush (and me, because I respect him) doesn't hurt President Bush (or me).
It helps everyone who supports him to read nonsense like yours attacking him. And it hurts you.
And every time you ping your whole support group when you post your nonsense to me, you reveal what a weak sister you really are. You can't fight your battles alone.
Now since I'm obviously not "free" disagree with you, I'll do my best to leave your thread. LOL!
(btw, I'd suggest you do a review of FR rules as well as the principles of conservatism. It might help you stop making a fool of yourself. Or not).
Our prime enemy inside this country right now is the democrat party, we shouldn't lose sight of that.

Very distressing to see so much animosity out here. Here’s my version of “Hope and Change”... “Hope” we can get it together and “Change” our Country BACK to what it should be (and was).
Don’t want to be part of the generation that let it fall apart, you know? And more and more, it seems like that is exactly what is happening.
I want my country back, and will do whatever is necessary to accomplish that goal before I check out.
