Former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin's appearance before the National Tea Party Convention in Nashville Saturday night gave plenty of red meat to the attendees, such as calling President Obama "a charismatic guy with a Teleprompter."
It was unfortunate that she had to be so obvious about it.
Obama supporters got a lot of nerve seeing he can not even complete a sentence without his teleprompter.
But the notes were on taxes, spending, energy and lifting up America. Three of those are core conservative values and the fourth if obviously going to be her campaign theme. Why would she need notes to remember those during a Q&A?
I love that she was obvious about it because it gives another chance for the petty MSM to look foolish. Seen any MSM reporting yet on the SUBSTANCE of her speech? I haven’t.
What shows the least amount of intelligence?
Having a few talking point reminders written on your palm? (Which is public speaking 101 - except normally its a 3x5 index card)
Or, taking teleprompters with you to speak to a classroom full of youngster?
His reply was that classroom photo was photoshoped. I sent him the video, and he said they can photoshop videos too.
There is no way to reason with Liberals. You'd accomplish more if you bang your head against the wall. Subconsciously he's saying “I've already made up my mind so don't tell me the facts”.
Well, it wasn’t like there was ever an epidemic, just an increased risk.
A bush-league error like this takes away from the substance of the speech.
The next day, while campaigning for Rick Perry in Houston, she had “Hi, mom!” on her palm. And the NYT even reported it. Great reaction, very impressive reaction time!
If any of you haven’t watched the whole video, do it now.
“If you can’t ride two horses, you probably shouldn’t be in the Circus in the first place.”
Loggers Rock!
Stick that in your pipe on smoke it. If you do not know what it means look it up.
Bush league error? Please get serious, she’s just fine, and having fun tweaking the MSM over their lame reporting. Like they’re ever going to report clearly what a conservative says............
Three or four words written inside her left hand to make her points. Some crib !
You've seen the Arkansas version, right?
She has good ideas
Love this!
No it wasn't. It was a deliberate and carefully crafted act. She did knowing full well the lefties and msm would wet their beds over it and it would explode into the blogosphere. She can now capitalize on it very effectively.
It was an act of pure genius and brilliant politics!
Obama bows to everyone and their dog, MSM doesn’t care.
Palin writes notes on her hand and it’s the end of the world according to the MSM.
Hypocrites.
munchnstufNeed I say it?-- snip --
They're playing right into her hand!! ;)Beehive
I wonder what she will write on her hand for the Daytona 500 next week...-- snip --Recovering Democrat
Sarah has turned this whole faux-scandal into her advantage, hasn't she?-- snip --Now she will have something written on her hand at every stop it will become a new way of broadcasting her message.
Everyone will want to know what she wrote on her hand, and it will all be a giant kick in the groin to the liberal loonies who cant stand someone as unpredictable and honest and happy as Sarah.
I think Hillbuzz is right. Sarah will win because she fights back with good humor and turns negatives into positives.Lakerfanalways
Sarah is a GENIUS..What the Truck did for Scott Brown writing little notes on the hand is working for Sarah Palin..
People should show up at events and have written on their hand "Sarah 2012"
President Obama requires a zillion Dollar teleprompter to speak to a 6th grade class, but Mrs. Palin handles a major speech to a national audience with a $.99 Majik Marker.
They were only one word reminders. Not entire paragraphs. Those words just reminded her to touch on the topics prior to the Q&A.
What an incredibly idiotic subject to wring our hands about and perfect evidence as to why the progressives are so adept at framing virtually any issue. Our response should be to mock them at their feeble attempt to turn the issue from their utter failure to deliver on any thing even remotely positive for the economy, energy or the WOT.
Grow up.
