Health Care: Americans have rejected the Democrats' reform plans. Yet our leaders in the White House and Congress are determined to force more government on the people. They must be stopped, not slowed.
From the bulliest pulpit of all the Super Bowl pregame show President Obama told CBS' Katie Couric on Sunday that he wanted a "large meeting with Republicans and Democrats to go through, systematically, all the best (health care) ideas that are out there and move it forward."
On Saturday, in what one news agency said was one of his feistiest speeches since the 2008 campaign, the president vowed that he was "not going to walk away from health insurance reform."
And on Friday, Democratic Rep. Tom Perriello of Virginia suggested that his colleagues stay with their agenda but push it with a different game plan. Rather than throw a package of health care changes together, as his party has done, he believes Congress should bite off small pieces of legislation that can draw bipartisan support.
It's been three weeks since Massachusetts voters elected Scott Brown to the Senate, in large part because of his opposition to the health care confusion Democrats have sown. It's been even longer since Americans at tea parties and lawmakers' town hall meetings plainly told Washington they wanted no part of the health care elixir that Congress was peddling.
Still, our political elites, impressed by their own intellects, insist that the public will get the health care system they want the public to have, not the health care the public wants.
This was confirmed by the president when he told Couric he would not throw out the proposals that are stalled in Congress and start over, even though public opinion (see chart) strongly indicates that he should.

No means NFW to Health Care ala Democratische.
My friend said the Republicans should be proud to be the party of No. They are speaking for the American people!
This thing, Healthcare... has taken on a life all of its own.
For the RATS to abandon it now is a huge loss and a major victory for the Repubs. A minority party completely shut down a party in the super majority also holding the WH.
If the RATS push it and lose they can at least go down with their ship, but will look extremely weak for the same aforementioned reasons.
They have committed themselves to a bad position, a corner they have painted themselves into out of their own stupidity. They have no political capital left and nothing to show for it, so they have no choice but to make one last stand on a bill that no one wants, that will cost them dearly in the elections.

Obamacare is Hillarycare. Obama's Chicago machine is the Hillary Chicago machine. Obama's staff was Hillary's staff. Obama doesn't exist - he's just new paint on the same old ship, and Hillary's climbing up the side, dripping wet, with a knife in her teeth...
No Govt involvement, period. And to the extent that they are involved now (Medicare and Medicaid), GET OUT.
NO OBAMA CARE!!
"No means No"
JUST SAY NO!
Rename, repackage, rewrite it a tad smaller, and sell another pig in a poke.
Tennessee has joined several other states in trying to pass a Health Care Freedom Act. NO COLAs for granny, retired Military or retired fed employees. BIG NEW fees for Tricare for Life retired over 65 Military's secondary health ins. (DOD bill already passed, delayed but goes into effect 2011)
New Dem mantra: Woof, woof eat dog food granny....ala let them eat cake.
This label of “Party of No”—I say if the republican party wants to redeem itself, leadership should embrace the ‘label’, but do by saying, “Correction, that’s the party of HELL NO!”—the GOP has a systemic problem of RINO’s. The only reason I have not changed my party affiliation, is to be able to vote in the primaries—I’m just spit-balling, but I’m inclined to think I may not be alone.
...but I want to play in the street!
I said NO!
...well I'm going to anyway!
Screech, headlight glass breaking, thump thump
JUST SAY .. NO ! .. TO GOVERNMENT HEALTH CARE POLITICAL RAPE !!!
