I don't know if anyone else caught this, but it seems like Flo TV still can't get over the 2000 election. From their commercial at around 38 seconds they flash Bush, then no war for oil protesters, and then Algore shown winning Florida.
What’s Flo-TV? I thought maybe you were talking about the Progressive Insurance girl, but she always seems so pleasant.
Thats TV on a cell phone right?
I don’t do that anyway.
Just goes to show that Flo got it wrong, too.
I used to like those commercials, until they put the two gays on... Now I’m totally turned off on her, and all the rest of the commercials...
I saw this and noticed it too. “Mission Accomplished”, Katrina, Gore won the election, quick snapshots. Although, they did not show Obami winning, which was good.
Flo??????
It appeared that flush-tv might have been a more accurate name.
Saw it. Saw the bias. Will never use them
There are few commercials that I like.
Has anyone else noticed the Allstate ads are sometimes vaguely pro Obama. I mean they don’t mention him but talk about this being the great generation and how tough times are what is making us great today.
They don’t hit you over the head with it but it is clear to me they are pushing the idea that the current leadership is good.
If you are talking about Progressive insurance, this is not surprising. It’s CEO is one Peter Lewis. The reason he called the company Progressive is for the progressive movement. This guy is like a mini George Soros. He’s a billionaire but not quite in Soro’s league. Lewis is a big time backer of democratic causes.
What an incredible waste of bandwidth! Imagine half a million people on one city simultaneously using these to watch video.
I thought the same thing.
Could be but I don't think so. These guys have went in and scooped up some of the bandwidth from the old TV broadcast spectrum and are using it to form up a digital network aimed at the mobile TV market. Right now there is no easy way to watch TeeeeeVeeeeee in your car or when you are away from home. This system should reach anyone that is in reach of your typical cell phone network since they are probably using cell phone towers with similar antennas and transmitters.
I guess they didn't want to appear "over the top".
Noticed no 0 as well. Which stunned me. Though any freedom-loving American should detest what he’s try to do to us, speaking objectively, his election should have at least merited a blip in their montage of American history of the past 60 years. Makes you wonder why they left him out.
