THE COMPLAINERS ARE either “perfectionists” who would complain if anyone playing live didn’t sound like a studio CD, whether it was the Who or a concerto by a world renowned violinist....or they have not grown up with the Who back in the day ...
EVERY SINGLE SUPERBOWL we get the whiners about the Halftime Show.
So when is the 2nd half kick off due?

Doritos Dog collar commercial and Bud Light house.
The rest: forgettable or less. Even the Tebow commercial was so fast I pretty much missed.

I agree, Thunderstruck would sound great with 100,000 at Jerry World.

Happens to the best of us. We do not need reminding.

No it wasn’t that bad RoseofTexas. I very much enjoy the half time show. I just made the comment about expectations because the WHO are not like they were years ago, and neither are we. Loved seeing them though. Enjoy the rest of the SB.

I think our appreciation was colored by our different ages. They’re young for me.

So far the best thing about SB 44 is TornadoAlley3’s cheerleader pics!

I loved the old half times...the marching bands, and all that. You can still catch a marching band half time show at a Grambling/Southern game ( the original Soul Bowl).

We saw Peter Cetera in concert a year or so ago and he was WONDERFUL.
To: mylife
And we don't have a clue what all was going on. For all we know the in ear monitors were screwed up. The live sound wasn't that well mixed. Their monitor mixes could have sucked. I've played a zillion live shows. It ain't always that easy. And these guys are OLD. They rocked. The drummer was well studied. A better mix would have made it all better.
Abunch of people that think 44 years they ought to sound like the CD. Give me a break.

I was thinking the last some The Who did was “We Won’t Get Fooled Again!”
Perfect for Obama...
Hey Obama,”We Won’t Get Fooled Again!” For anyone that was fooled by this FOOL!
