Residents and community leaders upset by Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman's angry statements about President Barack Obama said they would welcome Obama to the city, even if Goodman won't.
At a news conference at City Hall, Katherine Duncan, president of the Las Vegas Ward Five Chamber of Commerce, Assemblyman Harvey Munford, D-Las Vegas, and several residents said Goodman overreacted to Obama's statement Tuesday in New Hampshire warning people not to "blow cash on Vegas when you're trying to save for college."

Amazing1 Can anyone think of a time when a sitting president has offended so many people and then had supporters rush to defend him?

It’s weird how many little sheeple will say anything just for the opportunity to kiss Obama’s feet.

The ones who are “rushing” to defend Obummer would rush to defend Judas Iscariot if he had a D behind his name!

Well,I sure am glad to see the voices of impartiality and reason speak out in Las Vegas.
After all, liberal ideological support of a politician who is doing all he can to suppress business and tourism in a city DEPENDENT on tourism is much more important than the paychecks of people in said community.
But even the SEIU whose employees probably fill the hotels out there won't complain, right?
Right?

Race comes first for some and always will. They can quote Martin Luther King until the cows come home but they don’t believe it as they have proved time and again.

Mayor Goodman sorta reminded me of Mo Green. I think Obie needs to be careful about using the presidency to settle Chicago family business.

Another thing Osama and Obama have in common: they’re both bad for business.

I’m certainly no fan of Las Vegas, but one would think that anyone there with two brain cells to rub together would grasp that the Obamanation’s loud derision toward spending money in Las Vegas is not exactly supportive of the livelihoods of people there — b/c not only everone whose income depends directly upon tourist and gaming dollars, but all who do any other kind of business there will be hurt financially if more people follow Obambi’s advice.
