Amy Kremer of the Tea Party Express on now.
She is saying the bickering is unnecessary, and we need to support each other.
Don't back down because of negativity of some.
If you don't like what another group is doing, ignore them
We have one chance, and the time is now
We need to stick together.
Today is Ronald Reagan's 99th birthday!
Where there is a teabagger there is a teabaggie. Those who call us teabaggers are admitting they on the receiving end of the bagging ...which is funny to me.

When they first started using that term, conservatives were frantically googling it while leftists just laughed because it is one of their favorite practices so they knew what it meant.
Gotta love this lady...especially since she strikes soooo much fear in the libs.
4 percent of people support the political class
rasmussen recent poll
51% of dems see this problem too
Groupthink requires mindguards.
They don't believe their words.
They're just so corrupt, they know what they must say to prevent their constituency members from considering alternative points of view.
I missed the morning presentations.
My problem is, Mr.Wolf mentioned Scott Brown and his recent victory in Massachusetts. He mentions how Brown stuck to a campaign agenda of fiscal responsibility, while purposely staying away from other issues. I guess he meant issues like Roe v Wade and abortion on demand. Two issues Brown happens to support as Constitutional rights.
What I'm not hearing from Tea Party members are those aspects of conservatism that promote factors related to "Life and Liberty" concerns. These are also known as pro-life and right to life issues. Issues that Ronald Reagan made a priority during his three serious campaigns for the White House and issues he promoted time and again during his Presidency.
The Tea Party as an organization seems to give lip service to pro-life issues. They don't seem to give a priority to the protection of the unborn with the seriousness it deserves. As far as I can tell, its not an issue the Tea Party cares about.
Bear in mind though that they didn't cover some of the more “controversial” speakers. Read they don't agree with them because they are too close to home. CSPAN is biased
PJTV will probably have it all archived
Speaking now, Kimberly Fletcher
I have traveled with the Tea Party Express to nearly every state in the Union and have attended at least a hundred Tea Party rallies in cities all across this nation. I can personally attest to the fact that the Tea Party crowds go wild whenever any speaker on the stage declares that he/she is a Christian Conservative. The vast majority of Tea Party people appear to be pro-Life, pro-Liberty, pro-family, pro-constitution, pro-borders, pro-small government, pro-defense pro-America patriots. That’s why they’re there. I wouldn’t be part of it if they weren’t.
Not a WORD in the article to show racism
But the title will get lots of hits, and prove the tea party movement is racist
Notice how this article talks about the Convention in the past tense.Tea Party convention: Tea Party racist nature is obvious
6 February, 2010
Washington: Tea Party convention: Tea Party racist nature is obvious. The Tea Party convention at Nashville was a great hit. Hundreds of thousands of people, including conservative activists, gathered at the venue to discuss issues plaguing the United State
As if it is over LOL
I do like the "hundreds of thousands" of people showed up!
The MSM usually would said a couple of huhdred as there are about a thousand people there or so.
Thanks for posting the thread.
Its the Tea Party organization on the whole that does not send out a strong pro-life message. A strong anti-Roe and anti-abortion on demand message is needed. The Tea Party backed Scott Brown's candidacy, even though he's a Pro-Roe abortion proponent. Care to comment on why they supported Brown and why so much defense of the Pro-Roe Brown is allowed here on Pro-life FRee Republic?
Just got back from a Reagan Day Tea-party in Kalamazoo Michigan, and it was great!
I’m not happy with Brown’s stance on abortion, but his election jerked Obama’s chain taut and put a sudden halt to his Marxist agenda. For that I am thankful and have hope for the future. Blocking Obama’s agenda is a leading Tea Party goal and a major accomplishment.
Kimberly Fletcher was definately worth hearing if you can find it archived it will be worth the effort to listen tod what she had to say.
I confess to not having paid a lot of attention to the Tea Party movement. I did listen to a good deal of what was said today, and I liked what I heard. What I heard was a plan to identify voters who identify with a specific set of vital issues; then a strategy to get those voters to the polls on election day. I like the fact that the emphasis is on fiscal responsibility and constitutional governance.
I also would prefer that right to life be a priority; but, I might also wish that 2nd amendment and war on terror be priorities.
There is something happening with a new demographic that is becoming politically active and plan to not be a tool of the powers that be. I say, more power to them.
The tea partiers are trying to take back Congress and the White House. For that they are looking for the strongest majority common denominators that are also the issues that have fueled their own movement. That obviously is small, Constitutional government with limited taxation. Within states that will support stronger pro-life support, I expect most of them are or will support the social conservatives within the Republican Party first, and if they lose in the primary the Republican Party in the general.
Brown was the relative pro-lifer in his race and he did downplay it to focus on the strongest majority issues. But if the tea partiers push a pro-life agenda nationwide they’ll be killing off their movement in about a dozen states where we really need economic and foreign policy conservatives, at least. Reagan said someone who agreed with him 80% of the time was his friend (I’m paraphrasing), and there’s no reason to push 80%-ers out of the movement right off the bat.
While less taxes, less spending and less government is a right and proper goal made famous by Constitutionalists and conservatives, I don't think it helps rightwing politics when we push aside and ignore other issues, like support of Life&Liberty concerns and opposition to Roe v Wade and abortion on demand.
I get very uneasy listening to some of the Tea Party messages. Sounds like a lot of "moderates" giving short shrift to pro-life concerns for the unborn.
