In reality, John McCain will most likely defeat his challenger J. D. Hayworth in the Arizona primary elections, but at least we get to see the old guy squirm a little. I do hope that the people of Arizona will finally see that John McCain has not done them any favors over the years and elect a true conservative to represent their state. McCain was a sellout on immigration, which is a major issue in not only the Border States, but the rest of the country as well. He is also a big government Republican who voted for the bank bailouts and opposed the Bush tax cuts. Although McCain has a fortune in his campaign war chest, he may have to spend a big chunk of it to defend himself in the primary. This should send a message to all of the other Republicrats that we the American people are demanding that our representatives vote our way once elected. Apparently, McCain is sufficiently scared because he once again enlisted Sarah Palin to bail his moderate butt out again. He also has hit the airwaves portraying himself as Arizonas last line of defense against government spending, bloated bureaucracy and government run health care. With the exception of health care, he has done nothing but contribute to government spending and bureaucracy. If he is re-elected, the people of Arizona will know for certain if an Old Dog can change its spots. I at least hope the primary is close so that all of the Republicrats and RINOS will know that we are tired of voting for the lesser of evils and are now standing firm on our principles. They either can stand with us or be voted out of office at the first opportunity.
Hopefully it is a devastating fire.
Certainly you can do better than that. You join FreeRepublis to shill for McCain and that’s it?
I guess Sarah Palin must be a RINO as well?
Only you are a true Republican? Isn’t that special.
I never mentioned Palin. I never said I was a republican either. You have been here on FR, what? All of 30 days? You need to get back to licking McCain campaign mailers, boy.
can’t disagree with anything you say. KBH is worse than John Cornyn by far but he has drifted left.
It doesn’t matter who campaigns for McCain. I think he’s going to lose no matter what. Enough is simply ENOUGH.
“I still think it is strange that Hayworth wont devote his energies to retaking the Congressional seat that he lost a few years ago. I view J.D. as more of an ego who needs to be massaged as opposed to someone who wants to contribute something to the political debate.
Hayworth is the kind of guy that, if he loses the primary, will run as an Independent to spoil McCains chances.”
Nice try TROLL!
“McCain is a straight line fiscal conservative.”
Massive illegal immigration is a “tax” on the American people resulting in excessive taxes and spending and reduced wages for the law abiding tax payers.
There is nothing “fiscally conservative” about his contradictory positions.
It would be an easy argument to consider him a Domestic Enemy of the the Constitution, except no one has the guts to say it because of his POW service. But given his stance on Illegal Immigration and his unconstitutional Campaign Finance Reform; if it walks like a duck...
“If McCain loses the primary hell try to do what his buddy Joe Lieberman did and run as an independent”.
That’s my bet, with the MSM egging him on. When he also loses as an Independent, then maybe the RINO’s will get it.
During that time hundreds of new schools, and roads, and freeways and flood control projects, and sewage systems were built by Arizona taxpayers for the benefit of people who had no hand in the building or financing. Much of it was built with labor from Mexico.
I'm thinkin' not so plush. Maybe something like at the end of Ever After where the wicked step-mom and sister get to work in a laundry endlessly stirring linens in large baths of scalding water.
It might be worth it. First of all, you wouldn't have a traitor in your camp, the Democrat probably wouldn't vote much more liberal than McCain, and though putting up with the Democrat for six years, McCain would FINALLY be out of the politics business, and effort could shift to replacing the Democrat in '16.
