Cancer-stricken Elizabeth Edwards is telling pals that John beat her during a horrific marriage-ending fight, The ENQUIRER has learned exclusively.
"John lost his temper big-time," revealed a close friend of Elizabeth.
"She has the divorce papers drawn up, but she can amend them to charge John with domestic violence.
"She's holding that over his head right now - and he's scared. Elizabeth is in control."
Elizabeth privately disclosed all the shocking details of the alleged attack, says a close friend.

This woman considers them both immoral alley cats who disrespected their vows and wife and family to fornicate with abandon( and arrogantly think it would never be known) but-physical violence is grounds for violent self-defense in my book.
Trouble here is that Elizabeth found the limits to her deal with the devil. She was quite willing to use her illness to get her sleazeball husband in power and milked the sympathy bit as long as possible. I suppose she wasn’t willing to be seen as a total fool for his benefit.
Ironic that playing the ‘victim’ for votes made her a victim of another kind in the end.

Edwards is a sleeze all right, but the bent one and his Mena connection, etc. accounted for much more harm and death than did this ugly event.
The Inquirer has proven to be pretty accurate thus far regarding this sleazeball.
