First “America’s Newsroom.” Then “America’s Election Headquarters.” And on Monday, Megyn Kelly will begin anchoring a third all-about-America newscast, “America Live.”
Megyn Kelly, who will be the solo anchor for an afternoon program starting Monday, is a centerpiece of the news side of Fox News.
We’re big on America here at Fox,” Ms. Kelly said in an interview last week.
And America, or at least a big chunk of it, is big on Fox News, which is coming off its highest-rated year ever. That record is largely attributable to right-wing opinion-mongers like Glenn Beck and Bill O’Reilly, whose bluster sometimes distracts from the newscasts that make up Fox’s daytime schedule.

Megyn is my favorite on Fox. Saw her interviewing a guy a few months back — he was doing the classic liberal ‘duck the question’, and she just kept hammering him: Answer the question. Over and over. She finally cut off the interview because he wasn’t answering her question. She’s one tough cookie.
Not in my house. I can't stand the guy. He and Geraldo would be gone the first day I owned Fox.
He truly gives me the creeps. So much so I will simply not watch him. As soon as I see him it's off to another channel. Sometimes I remember to switch back when I think he's gone, but often I get involved in another program and don't get back to Fox for a day or more.
Wonder how much ratings they lose from people like me who leave and forget to go back!
Yeah, okay, but you can’t tell it’s Lara Logan unless you look at her face.

Perhaps you should have studied her “face” a little more. :)
IMHO, she is the best female newscaster on TV. Will she replace Greta? Pretty likely that she will at some point. OTOH, she could replace Shepard Smith. Now that would be real progress at Fox News.

I like Greta. I would rather see O’Blowhard replace Shep. Then either Megyn or Glenn could have that time slot and Shep could wander on over to MSNBC where he belongs. Oh, I would really like to see E. D. Hill come back to Fox.
My fondest memory of Shep is him walking down Bourbon Street after Katrina hit. “We’ve dodged a bullet” he said.
When everyone else was looking at the dikes in the 9th Ward and getting a little queasy.

I love the times that Megyn goes head-to-head with Obama spokesman, Bill Burton. She always leaves him with the look like he just sh*t his pants. She absolutely skewers that POS! I love Megyn. She is one of the most intelligent, insightful and intellectual women alive today, not to mention she has been blessed with the physical beauty of a goddess. Her show will be a HUGE HIT. Love ya, Megyn...Keep up the great work.
