Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says the nation will deliver a harsh blow to the "global arrogance" on this year's anniversary of the Islamic Revolution.
"The Islamic Revolution opened a window to liberty for the human race, which was trapped in the dead ends of materialism," Ahmadinejad said during a cabinet meeting on Sunday.
"If the Islamic Revolution had not occurred, liberalism and Marxism would have crushed all human dignity in their power-seeking and money-grubbing claws. Nothing would have remained of human and spiritual principles," he added.
Ahmadinejad said that in the three decades of its history, the Islamic Revolution had inspired some great developments in the world.
The Iranian president made the remarks as the 31st anniversary of the Islamic Revolution approaches.
Iranians are expected to pour into the streets on February 11 to celebrate the occasion in public rallies across the country, as they have done annually over the past three decades.

ROFL
Ain’t it the truth granny, ain’t it the truth!
only one
nuke?
Me.
Although I think he would use more if he has them, I don't think he has had the time and resources to make multiple warheads just yet.
Further, I very seriously doubt he has either the patience or the politically breathing room to accumulate an arsenal. For him, personally, it's use 'em or lose 'em. He doesn't strike me as one who would do all the work, only to allow a successor to hog all the glory.
Besides, Satan always tips his hand...
Thanks for the ping!
He could have bought some on the open market.
The globalists could have given him some.
He nails it..
It is by now an open secret among intel agencies that Iran has at least six or nearly a dozen nuclear weapons already in nose cones on missiles that can all reach Tel Aviv and Eastern Europe.
The fissionable material for this was obtained from Ukraine and is somewhat degenerated but still capable of destruction or at worst serve as dirty bombs.
Most likely right now as a target are:
1. the Saudi oil fields, pipelines and refineries. Not blocking the Straits of Hormoz. Yemeni Shia opeartives would be used for this attack unless Iran uses short range missiles/rockets of which it has large numbers.
2. New York and Los Angeles - specially ports in both and/or Los Angeles airport. To cripple them and thus commerce.
Depending on the lunacy in play on Feb 11th, these are the ways and PLEASE remember they already have nukes. NOt the best ones but enough to cause huge harm. One dirty bomb on Tel Aviv poisons a big part of Israel.
I don't think he was so well-meaning, and many friendly governments fell to extremists and communists during his term.
Whenever his administration started pointing out human rights abuses, you just knew what was coming - destablization then government failure. I don't suppose we'll know in my lifetime the true extent of his actions, but I have no doubt the truth is not pretty.
OH GEe Thanks FARS LOL!
I Live in LA
END TIMES PING LIST PING . . . UPDATE . . .
IRAN REPORTEDLY HAS 6-12 NUKES ALREADY IN THEIR NOSE CONES.
OTOH, I'm entirely willing to believe they've got a dozen or so nukes "ready for delivery" and that they're crazy enough to do it, unless TOTUS can wax mellifluous enough to make them not do it. /s
Truer words have never been posted, granny.
Our recent reality is stranger/scarier than fiction.
Thank you. Good to know
Thanks for staying on top of this, FARS!
Be Ever Vigilant!
The Shahab 3 has a 1200km range - can reach another target omited from FARS list - Rome. Which on the Iranian target list is right after Israel and just before NYC.
Get your gas topped off, stock up on food and water now — because right after the Iranians begin their campaign to bring the Mahadi back, WWIII begins in ernest and all bets are off. Expect Hussein to declare martial law.
And not a few will learn the hard way that food does not grow in grocery stores.
MUCH AGREE.
