Adam Andrzejewski for Governor: The Clear Choice to Turn Illinois Around
American Daily Review ^ | 01/31/10 | Yomin Postelnik

I’m a candidate myself and have consulted for many conservative campaigns throughout North America. I’ve known several great conservative candidates well. I do not know Adam Andrzejewski personally, but I’ve come to greatly admire his campaign. One does not need to know him in order to see what a benefit he can be to Illinois and to the nation.

A third generation Illinois-born American, Adam is a 40 year old conservative who embodies the very meaning of the word. He has a strong work ethic, a clear sense on policy, a passionate belief in the best of people and a strong desire to turn his state around for the better.

Andrzejewski (pronounced Angefski) was born into a family that valued work and ethics above all else. In the late 1970s, his father ran against

I've met Adam a few times during the Primary season. He's a nice enough person, but I believe we need proven leadership to govern Illinois. Senator Bill Brady, Republican candidate for Governor, is a leader for such as time as this.

Bill Brady is an honorable man, a family businessman, and an experienced legislator. His has a pro-family, pro-life, pro-2nd amendment voting record . . . and will not need on the job training.

Plus Bill Brady is the only down state gubernatorial candidate in the race.

If so, Illinois will have a clear history of electing Governors whose names need an accompanying pronunciation guide.

Brady has openly opposed sb600. That’s a deal killer when there are guys like Adam in the race. My sign for Adam just went up.

The last Republican guy with an easily pronounced name (George Ryan) went to jail.

Is SB600 really the issue you’re basing your vote on?

I’m voting for Bill, who is right on everything else and who has the experience to back it up.

Yup. As far as I am concerned opposing SB600 is a marker that Brady cooperates with the combine and is in there in order to dilute the conservative vote. Adam A. is also right on all of the issues I know of.

Yeah, Brady spent 200,000 dollars of his own money to dilute the conservative vote...

The “combine” doesn’t need to pick, and doesn’t pick, the members of the SCC. If voters elected them, like the Democrats do, we would end up with our own Mike Madigan as Party chair.

Power in Illinois doesn’t reside there. SB600 is a pretty irrelevant issue.

Then Brady was pretty stupid to throw away votes over it. Nice to know he spent some of his fortune this time, last time he didn't bother. Adam A. is within 2 in the last PPP poll, the Walesa endorsement has moved him up.

Thomson prison plan divides voters

Majority of Republicans opposed while Democrats are supportive

January 24, 2010

A plan to house terror suspects in a state prison in northwest Illinois divides likely primary voters along party lines, with about 60 percent ofRepublicans opposed and a nearly identical share of Democrats in favor, a Tribune/WGN-TV poll shows.

President Barack Obama and Gov. Pat Quinn want the state to sell the prison in Thomson, three hours west of Chicago, to the federal government. The facility then would receive detainees from Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Although 61 percent of Republicans oppose the plan, 77 percent of those sympathetic to the "tea party" movement are against it. That group organized protests at a recent public hearing in Sterling.

Among those supporting particular GOP candidates for governor, the plan is least popular among backers of state Sen. Bill Brady

I'm with you, Dr. Sivana.

But one thing I've learned in the last four years that still holds true today is that Bill Brady voters are Illinois’ Ron Paul voters. There's Bill Brady, and only Bill Brady - and as far as the primary vote count, it's Bill Brady or damn the state! Everyone else is a fraud in comparison, and any poll that suggests Brady isn't inches away from winning is suspect.

You're not going to move any Brady voters. It's not about finding the most Conservative option to avoid a RINO nomination, it's all about Bill Brady. Everyone else, no matter how Conservative, isn't Bill Brady, so they can't vote for them.

These guys will vote Brady no matter WHAT, no matter what, NO MATTER WHAT. You're not going to talk them out of it - not with any polls, or threats of RINOs winning the nomination (The Randy Snuffleupagus sign is still in the garage anyway, if a RINO should win the nod), not even in the face of a definite RINO nomination. Only Bill Brady matters.

I'm still leaning Adam, but I have to be honest and let you know I'll switch if last-second data shows I need to support someone else to stop Dillard.

I just hope we don't have to suffer through Brady-cide again. I truly hope that scenario does not repeat itself.

I suspect you're right. On the other hand, this time around, Brady is within genuine shooting distance in the polls I've seen. So I have decided to appeal to the Proft voters to pick between Adam A. and Brady. If you have to have a guy who is an office-holder and you don't care about SB600, Brady's your man. If you care about SB600 or aren't sold on the need for an office-holder getting the nomination, pick Adam A.
