Let me be perfectly clear, there is no split.

Maelstrom! Stop spouting LIES!!! I gave you three links in your earlier JD bashing post that proves JD’s innocence in the Abramoff debacle...

You obviously have one mission and that’s to try and smear JD. Enough, already, seriously...WE DON’T WANT MCCAIN.

Not only did McCain vote against the Bush tax cuts, McCain voted FOR the massive bailouts too.
On top of that we have McCain/Fiengold(most of which the Supreme Court has declared as unconstitutional and struck down), we have McCain/Kennedy amnesty bill(which McCain is still fighting for. McCain is almost certain to vote for the upcoming amnesty bill this year), then we have McCain’s withering attacks on Bush over Guantanamo(McCain insisted that we close Guantanamo), whereby McCain continued to attack America for “torturing” terrorists, and loudly screamed for Geneva Convention rights for terrorists.
Exactly why should any conservative vote for this arrogant, out of touch, clown? Everything must be dome to send this idiot into quick retirement.

McCain needs to retire and most here at FR are going to help him do that, Hayworth is a conservative and I’ll support him with a donation.

I’m afraid that if Tea Party groups begin endorsing candidates, it will serve only to split Republicans and conservatives.

But I could see him all over the media for years slagging off the Republican party if he lost the nomination. “

And who would care about that?
There are plenty of mad old men walking the streets of New York that slag off the Republican Party too. No one pays them any mind.
Plus McCain has been slagging off teh Republican Party for years, so what will be new about that?

Will this issue tear the Tea Party movement apart?

Its obvious your a McCainiac - you keep posting articles critical of JD. Either you are a plant or a huge RINO. Quit it with the JD bashing - 99% of FR cant stand McCain.

I never want to hear of Meghan McCain again, that’s for sure. I’d pay to make her a nobody.

McCain always puts on a good Republican front during an election year. It’s the 6 years after he is elected that suck.

“John McCain has stepped up on health care and even cap and trade, which he has a very mixed history on. He’s … stepped up, and I think people respect that,” Kibbe said.

Anybody who buys this crap is a moron. McCain sees the light just in time for his re-election campaign. If he wins he'll break his arms trying to 'reach across the aisle'.

“For that reason alone, McCain has got to go.”

Yeah, I get that. That was my point. I GET THAT. The question I asked was WHY Hayworth. Why HIM?

How in the hell is JD Hayworth “new blood” and doesn’t he have PLENTY of his own baggage?

And no one else has name recognition?

You mean like the famous Scott Brown had before he knocked off Ded Kennedy (D-HELL)?

I thought the idea was to throw all of these bums out, not recycle them.

Juan will suddenly “turn conservative” until he has been re-elected. THEN, look for the same old selling out of the party, the nation and the American people.

On Monday, when Dick Armey’s FreedomWorks released their list of more than 65 congressional races across the country

Not sure how Armey and Tea parties are suppposed to be synonymous? I am not necessarily endorsing Hayworth but Dick Armey and Freedomworks need to take a hike. If they represent the Tea parties then the Tea parties are nothing but an arm of the GOP.

Amen and Amen again! So it begins. “Tea Party” triangulation for liberal “R’s”! The old b-tards school of incumbents uber-alles. Some things never change.
