A former Bethlehem middle school teacher whose nature program for seventh-graders won national acclaim apparently killed himself Thursday about an hour before he was scheduled to plead guilty to sexually assaulting a teenage boy, a charge that shocked the community and cost him his career.
Gregory G. Ritter, 45, a longtime Boy Scout volunteer and 20-year National Guardsman, was found dead next to a picnic table at the apartment complex in the Poconos where he recently moved, according to police, who said he had a gunshot wound to the head.

Like I said without more info on specific illnesses how can I comment on them, like I said before not ALL cancers are caused by sin, but many of them are and unless you know the causes behind all these Cancers of the body, who are you to tell me I’m wrong? We are not born with Cancer it develops over time. The question is why?
Compassion? I said it was sad that the pedophile committed himself to an eternity in hell. But you live a life of sin what else do you expect to happen? Diehard says God will forgive him for it, not likely.

You know perfectly well that I do not have a “soft spot for pedophiles who commit suicide” — we’ve talked about that before. I *do* has a soft spot for Due Process and Natural Justice. As you know. This is both consistent with US Law and with God’s Law, more importantly.
Your opposition to Due Process and Natural Justice is therefore perverse, to say the least. Slandering those who uphold these principles is hardly the act of a good Christian.
Apparently your brand of “Christianity” tolerates bearing false witness: it’s a sin in most Christian faiths. “A lying tongue” is one of the things the Lord hates — as you also know. And lawless behavior was always punished severely by God.
We all know you’re a sinner — we all are. But it seems like there might be two or three extra sins for you to account for this week, concerning your interactions with me.

You truly are a paradox: God made Man in His own image, but it would seem that you have made God in your own image instead. That can’t be right!
No one is born with mental illness, it develops over time due to sin. No one who is ‘saved’ has ANY mental illness, none of the Disciples suffered from mental illness, as it is, no one can enter heaven suffering from ‘mental illness’.
I have worked with many “saved” who are seriously mentally ill. Some of the mentally ill are heartbreakingly God’s own.
A number of people kill themselves when they are shamed, shocked embarressed.

Your small mindedness, ignorance and lack of compassion are breathtaking. Pain and suffering were brought into this world by sin, but not all who suffer do so as a direct result of their sin. Mental illness is only different from physical handicaps in the minds of the petty and uncaring.
being accused of molestation doesnt mean that it is true. There are a lot of troubled boys out there who use that as a vengeful or attention getting device.
