I’d better call it a night. I’m not getting a good feeling about AZ now.
I am rather upset to learn that John Shadegg is retiring.

And...? What about all the reports of Islamic compounds such as Islamberg, NY or one near Houston? Just 2 of many. Mosques and/or Islamic centres in most cities? I ask, what for? Conquest?

"Rabble"...as in rabble-rousing? Interesting.

If your not a Christian, Motel then you also are NOT very smart...

When you come to the end of your rope the Master hem of his garment will not be there for you to touch, what will you do then?????

I’ve been told by other posters on Free Republic that I am NOT very smart...but I am a Christian, that matters more than being smart!!!..

Good Night All time to turn this OFF.
Go JD...

You got heckled in this thread, it’s unfortunate, just want you to know that there are people here who appreciate some candid ear to the ground local reporting from people outside the little flamewar purist mafia that take over way too many threads on FR these days.

Quick question if you will, you know JD is no philosopher king, but is he capable of being a good foot soldier and reliable vote if he got elected? Being as he would be most junior Senator in the R caucus, he would just need to press the right button on votes and repeat the right platitudes, and not have dead interns discovered in his Senate offices.

Of the Dem candidates... if JD loses to McCain in the boisterous primary, can any of them give McCain a run for the money?

Rudy Garcia (D) - Ex-Bell Gardens (Cal.) Mayor, Retired Non-Profit Executive & Veteran
Rodney Glassman (D) - Tucson City Councilman, Realtor, Ex-Congressional Aide & USAF Veteran
Stuart Starky (D) - Teacher, Ex-Businessman & Frequent Candidate

“I support Sarah but she might get her butt kicked on this”

I like Sarah, too. But I just said to someone regarding her campaigning for mclame, that this will be a true test of the conservative movement and drive home the point when there is a decent conservative running like Hayworth, that’s who will be getting the votes.

I think the McCain-Feingold loss was went put J.D. over the top on his decision, or was at least an important factor. McCain getting reversed was quite damaging to the perceptin of his judgment.

She doesn’t have to go negative on J.D.. She can simply talk about McCain’s strengths during the primary and then support whichever one of them wins the primary in the general.

EVERYONE LOST in ‘06

That statement is patently false. Reliable conservatives won...even some with connections to Abramoff.

The people, imo, out marching in the streets call them conservatives, Tea Party members or whatever...they are the ones leading the movement.

But the Tea Party is already starting to eat its own. Just like the "pure" conservatives on this thread.

Norge is a McCainiac.

Sorry, Girl, that's not true. (See my post 218).

Actually, I'm kind of agnostic with regard to him. He certainly doesn't get me all wee-wee'd up, but I don't quite have the flamed up hate for him that some have.

Now if you were to call me a Paliniac...I wouldn't mind. Been calling her name here since before most people even heard of her.

GO KISS your MCLAME’s butt.. vote for the miserable effer... I don’t much Care.. you have to live with it.

Are you saying that he was part of the general GOP spending malaise or that he specifically was a big spender (earmarks and pork)?

JD was big on earmarks, and second largest recipient of Abramoff favors and money. Don't know about pork.

And just for those who are thinking about sending money to him, consider the fact that his PAC raised just over $500,000 between 2001 and 2005. His wife got over $100,000 of it, and administration costs were 46%.

Just sayin', ya know? And posting these facts, does not make me a McCainiac!

This is an unequivocal battle between conservatives and RINOs for the soul of the Republican party.
Sarah Palin has chosen her side.

I’m sure there is a cushy chair for her at the RNC.
But not in the Oval Office.
