Holy smokes! JD is telling us this is his last hour on the air!
He is saying he will be heard from again in the public arena.
You scare me, Norge
Hey, we disagree, but I like you. That should scare you even more.
You sure are going off on a lot of pointless tangents rather just answering a simple question. Waste of your time and mine.
good question. I’ve wondered that myself. Does anyone know. I remember being quite surprised about the loss but that’s all I remember.
John McCain is running some snarky ads on KFYI, which are specifically aimed at JD Hayworth. Something like Hayworth sounds like a conservative, but he voted for bills which contained 647 kajillion earmarks.
I think MCCain is worried or he wouldn’t be spending money in advance of an announcement by JD...JD has been on the air for the past 3 years on KFYI and has done well to promote the principles of conservatism and the big Arizona concern: ILLEGALS. SHERIFF JOE ARPAIO is ON BOARD for JD and he will help widen the gap to show McCain for the RINO he really is! Our budget woes in Arizona could be eased IF we cut out ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION EDUCATION, MEDICAL COVERAGE, etc!
Fair enough. I do not support McCain. But I respect Sarah’s decision to stand with him. To me, it’s an obvious choice.
Okay. NOW I’m ready to send him money.
Go get him Senator Hayworth! You already have a hill to climb (thank you very little Sarah Palin) but I have a feeling that even us usual Palin supporters will break with her and support you over that RINO son of a b*tch, McStain!
That pic—is that the Forrestal disaster ?
I don’t like McCain at all but he’s not Hitler or Obama. He is good on some important issues, national defense for one.
I don’t think Sarah’s loyalty to him on this will hurt her. I don’t think it will help him enough.
After all, he has his wife and daughter on his side and, as they say, with friends like those ...
They both seem to be nut cases.
I think JD Hayworth will get more TEA Party support than McCain could hope to. Heck, I think most of Sarahs own biggest fans will break with her on this one.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
I’ll definately be breaking from Sarah on this one! Just as I sent Scott Brown a campaign contribution, I’ll do the same for JD! And I live in Utah!
Not sure if that's the case. There are new rules about the national party getting involved in primaries.
I used to have a bookmark to the rules. I would have to dig it up again.
I keep hearing that on FR... that McCain screwed Palin, to put it crudely.
How and where did he do that?
Just to put my position out there I still like Sarah. I do understand the position she is in. I’m giving her a pass here. One pass only.
But, I’m 100% against McCain. Any argument she makes in favor of him I will deconstruct. I will give to J.D. I will do what I can to support him. And I HOPE conservative organizations and “tea Party” participants will do the same.
A message needed to be sent to Democrat’s and so Brown was elected. A McCain loss is a message that would create the same impact among the GOP establishment. This is high priority.
I answered the question Will. Where are you?
Freepers find every way possible to get through to Sarah not to support McCain. Any ideas?
Have been wondering the same thing. I was sure that I heard that she would campaign for the Republican candidate AFTER the AZ primary. I know that there have been many rumors about her but I did not take this as a rumor.
I first supported Reagan in ‘76 against Ford. What you stated isn’t the full story.
Reagan didn’t support open borders. Reagan said: “A nation without borders is not a nation.” Reagan did sign into law the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. The IRCA included severe penalties for employers who hired illegals, with up to a $1,000,000 fine, improved border enforcement and a legalization provision that was a one time ONLY amnesty. If that law had been enforced and not gutted by Ted Kennedy and the Senate Democrat majority, the IRCA of 1986 would have been successful in the long run and today we wouldn’t be talking about massive illegal immigration across our borders. While I didn’t like the amnesty provision at the time, in the long run it could have worked.
People are making this way too complicated.
McCain asked her for help. She agreed. She will not support policies she doesn’t agree with, but simply say vague stuff like she thinks John is a good man, etc.
Good Lord, people. Chill.
I get so sick of the self-declared purists on Free Republic.
They have consumed so much flesh of their own people, they have become self-satisfied cannibals.
It took less than 12 hours for some of them to start attacking our savior, Scott Brown. Don’t they have any conception of how much he’s done for us?
I’ve read Sarah’s book. She’s tough, strong, energetic and conservative. Making a couple of appearances for a man she owes a lot to does nothing to negate that truth.
I am so glad I don’t have friends like some of the so-called conservatives here. They would find fault in Jesus Christ.
Yes, let’s oust McLame! He is such old news. Not only is he pathetic, but he is soooo stale. We need new conservative faces.
Yes, I voted for him (what other choices were there other than to waste a vote on Ron Paul who would have been better than McCain, but didn’t stand a chance).
