Mccain had his campaign organizers defame her sub rosa among republicans and also boxed her in and tethered her during his presidential campaign.

Palin went “ROGUE” on them.

Palin is a good politician, she needs to move on away from McCain. He is done. His weakness saddled America with the worst president the nation HAS EVER HAD!

Gov. Palin will be damaged either way it turns out, if she does, in fact, campaign for McAmnesty.

1. McReachAcrosstheAisle wins: She is blamed for torpedoing JD, and thus we lose a “true” Conservative.

2. JD wins: She is forever stained as McManiac’s (enter filthy nasty term here)

JD was targeted for defeat by the DNC and the left for a reason. He’s dangerous. He takes no prisoners. He reaches across the aisle swinging a Louisville Slugger.

We need JD, not an anti-American, Dumocrat kissing, Grand RINO.

But if McCain was running unopposed in the primary, then Palin was actually campaigning against his eventual Rat opponent. She was supporting the R candidate to support creation of an R majority in the Senate, which we sorely need so that truly conservative Senators can get into positions of Senate leadership.

I think there’s a way for her to leave her options open if a primary fight develops between McCain and JD. That changes everything.

Gonna be a fun race, all the R’s I know think JD is just a joke.

Yes, but we're talking about "R" as in Republican, not "R" as in Retard.

Did I disagree with you on the basic concept of amnesty? No. I said, "While I didn’t like the amnesty provision at the time, in the long run it could have worked". I still believe that. Reagan didn't think he was making a mistake. Don't be so shortsighted. To just toss off the fact that Fat TeddyK was gutting the legislation funding has to taken into consideration as a major factor leading to the problems we face today. Enforcing the IRCA would have corrected the problem long term.

It is worth remembering that McCain couldn’t even win AZ in the 2008 presidential primary with 50% or more of the vote, the only top tier candidate of either party who failed to win his/her home state by 50% or more.

I forgot about that. Interesting point.

Ed Meese has said the 1986 amnesty was a mistake.

Send your exact post to Sarah. You’re getting no argument from me about McCain. I cringe and scream at the TV every time he talks about “reaching across the aisle.”

He should have retired, but he’s just like the other entreched incumbents. The fo0ssils come to think their seats are theirs for life and they need to be resoundly defeated. I can barely wait to donate to JD.

As for Sarah, it is her decision. I think most will see it as extending a kindness to a man she calls a close friend.

"The media loves McCain because he screws his own party."

You're exactly right. THAT is precisely why the media loves him.

Oh this is delicious! I don’t know a sole who knows J.S. that doesn’t love him, and who wouldn’t support him.

Well there is the difference. I don’t consider her the highest profiled standard bearer for conservatism. I consider her an ally in general.

The people, imo, out marching in the streets call them conservatives, Tea Party members or whatever...they are the ones leading the movement. They are the ones I want recognized as the “face” of the conservative movement. Why? Because people disappoint. Politician’s guarenteed will disappoint. I’m still annoyed at how Reagan let Oliver North take the fall. But, that’s what happens in politics and among politicians.

Movements are different. Faceless movements can be more principled and more effective. I want it to remain that way.

I wonder if she was just supporting the Repub candidate against the Dimocrats. Now that there is competition for the Republican candidacy I wonder if she will enter the contest more explicitly for one or the other.

My thinking exactly. If McCain was unopposed in the primary when she agreed to "campaign" for him (and that's a mighty flexible word anyway), a primary fight changes everything. She can rightly say she would be glad to support whoever wins the nomination, but first the people of AZ have to pick a candidate. Then step back a little and say good things about J.D.'s positions without naming him.

What will JD do when his bud Arpaio is in jail?

Trust me, JD isn’t gonna win. No one outside of Phoenix knows JD, they know and trust McCain. The real moonbats will vote for Simcox, the immigration crowd will vote JD, and the majority will vote McCain

If you watch Fox News, you have seen him many times. And he could really get on a fire-breathing roll against the Rats. He’s great!

I think you’ll recognize him.

Reagan made a mistake. And Congress never enforced the enforcement portion of the law. It was estimated that 1 million would apply and the real number turned out to be 2.7 million.

"Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986". "8 USC 1101 note"

That’s right, the sneak attack is working pretty good.

Sarah got snuck in, got the base behind her.

We’ve had three more sneak attacks, latest being Brown, and
Sarah can run interference for JD by splashing on McLettuce in the primary.

This oughtta work.
