Holy smokes! JD is telling us this is his last hour on the air!
He is saying he will be heard from again in the public arena.
If she had any sense, she should have said that she was not going to get involved in the primary, but would support the GOP nominee if asked.
GO JD!!
JD isn’t going to win. He couldn’t even beat Harry Mitchell in a republican district. Folks around here just laugh at JD, he is a local joke, soon the whole state will be laughing.
Gonna be a fun race, all the R’s I know think JD is just a joke.
“I support Sarah but she might get her butt kicked on this. I understand the debt she owes but the timing could be very bad for her.”
She owes McCain N O T H I N G

You need to up date and also do better reasearch.
Sarah Palin is against amnesty, for a secure border.
“Well, tis true. JD was one of the biggest spenders in Congress, and one of the reasons why the GOP took a shellacking in 2006.
No????”
N O
She has, at least twice.
But then, you knew that.
Whoa, I’m not up on my reading, I guess. I thought JD was already declared for the primary.
If that is not the case, and he is entering the race now, Palin could back out of her loyalty-tour for McCain, saying since the race is between two Republicans right now, it’s best for that to sort out first.
Don’t worry. I’ll hang in. I’ve hung in now for lo, these many years and I’m stuck here now.
MONEY BOMB!!!
B T T T
To me, appearing together at a fundraiser is not quite the same thing as “campaigning” together — i.e., asking for money is not quite the same thing as going out on the trail asking for votes.
If Palin was doing the fundraisers and McCain had no primary opponent (because JD had not yet declared), she can find a way to go over to JD’s side sooner rather than later.
I LOVE J.D. HAYWORTH.
This is a repost of a previous reply of mine.
I was most impressed with Hayworth in 2003-04. Remember when the fuel pipeline broke between Tucson and Phoenix? Poor old Napolitano had not a clue what to do. Gas shortages in Phoenix and costs 3-4 dollars above the national average.
Hayworth had a plan and he shared it with Napolitano. Get the gasoline on train tankers pronto! Get gasoline to the Phoenix area. Get semi-tankers to transfer the fuel from the trains to the retailers. Get the pipeline crews working pronto. Contract bonuses to companies that could deliver the soonest and pay them for it.
Napolitano took his advice and problem was solved in two weeks or sooner.
Hayworth knows how to fix stuff.
The former Gov had no clue how to fix the problem. McCain offered no advice.
Hayworth built a plan and challenged Napolitano to implement it. It worked.
“Just to put my position out there I still like Sarah. I do understand the position she is in. Im giving her a pass here. One pass only.”
I’m really on the fence about that. After all, she welcomes her position as the highest-profile conservative standard-bearer at this time. Her political actions have a LOT of significance and IMO her responsibilty to the conservative movement outweighs whatever sense of personal debt she feels she owes to Juan. Actively campaigning (if she does) for someone who has advocated as many totally unacceptable policies as he has is a big deal to me. Regardless of what she does, JD has my money and my vote.
Do you believe in miracles?
We have had quite a GOOD news week !!!!!
McCain also was trying to co-opt Sarah, to try to keep her from supporting someone else. Had to play the loyalty “I gave you your big break” card ASAP.
Also, was McCain running unopposed in the primary? If so, then I can see, under all the circumstances, Palin supporting him over the Rat.
But if J.D. runs . . . she’ll end up in his camp one way or the other.
Not fair. Not even close. Character is important. And Sarah would show very poor character if she dropped the man who started her political career at the first sign of discontent from ‘purists.’
Since you chose to characterize me, I shall return the favor. If the candidate you support because he/she espouses your own particular viewpoints has no character, he/she cannot be trusted and will cave on issues when it is to their advantage.
If you’d been around during the Reagan years, you might well be the sort of person who would have abandoned him because of the few times he did things you didn’t like.
I for one am very disappointed in Sarah Palin’s decision to support John McCain in the Arizona primary. McCain supports amnesty, the closure of Gitmo, the stifling of political free speech (McCain-Feingold), TARP, cap and trade (McCain-Lieberman), and is against drilling in ANWR.
It is worth remembering that McCain couldn’t even win AZ in the 2008 presidential primary with 50% or more of the vote, the only top tier candidate of either party who failed to win his/her home state by 50% or more. And the AZ senate primary in 2010 is a closed primary—only registered Reps can vote. If JD Hayworth, a true conservative, runs in the primary, he will win and McCain knows it. The fact that Cindy and his daughter are appearing in ads supporting gay marriage in CA just adds fuel to the fire. McCain is following the Obama strategy of trying to eliminate the opposition before the election, which is why he wanted Sarah’s endorsement, i.e., to discourage JD from entering the race. McCain is already running anti-Hayworth ads on the radio despite the fact that JD has not entered the race.
Sarah Palin should distance herself from McCain. McCain has endorsed Charlie Crist over Marco Rubio. He is also on the wrong side of races in Kansas and Colorado. McCain represents what is wrong with the GOP. He is the past, not the future.
As an active Tea Party member, I can assure you that the movement will not support McCain and will work for his defeat in the primary. Sarah has committed a colossal blunder supporting him. Principle must trump any misplaced sense of loyalty. With an amnesty bill now in the House, Sarah must also recant her pro-amnesty position detailed in her Univision interview. Any legislation that allows illegal aliens to stay and work here is amnesty.
