Thanks to the ineptitude of Iowa Governor Chet Culver, the state faces a $1 billion budget deficit in the coming year. Last week, Culver delivered his Condition of the State speech and failed to address any concrete ways to solve the crisis. That is because he has no clue how to solve it. Minnesotans are not better...
Yeah. What a whore - like most Democrats.
Simple answer: Leftists in charge.
Look to Detroit as the model.
You mean the senator from dung, Harken, didn’t get a sweetheart deal from the maoist?

Fermented corn?

Iowa is WAY overrated.
Total up how much “stimulus” Iowa gets from potential POTUS candidates and the lib-media camping there for two years prior to any national election.
With every wanna-be candidate being followed by every cable news channel, print and internet, (for some strange and needs-to-be-changed-permanently reason) Iowa gets to pick who in most cases, the other 49 states end up HAVING to vote for as a POTUS pick, as the Iowa cash register rings non-stop for 24 straight months.
Total up THAT “stimulus” and then tell Iowa if they wanna quit that bogus “Iowa votes first in POTUS primary CRAP, we’ll discuss another “stimulus”.
It started under Vilsack (now Sec. of Ag!), with him spending the “rainy day” funds on such important things as brick sidewalks for Dubuque, and just went out of control under Culver. Even huge tax hikes on all kinds of things couldn’t balance the budget.
To top it all off, the leading Iowa Republican guv candidate is a tax-and-spend establishment moderate.
I had forgotten about Vilesack.
