Polls are open.
Senate race in Massachusetts comes down to wire Read the article here: http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-mass-senate19-2010jan19,0,6084655.story?track=rss
Well, you know, Liberty is a Lady, and you know what they say about a woman scorned. The rats scorned her, she introduced them to hell tonight, and it has only just begun!
LOL. Why, yes, I am, as a matter of fact.
One little cup of Grey Goose and lime-aid.
How’s my typing? It goes first.
LOL
Nope...Mattews actually pressed his guest to admit Coakly ran a lousey campaign....but it was far more than that as we know.
BOOM!!>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Shot heard loud and clear!
No, the book by George Orwell...
((This is the REAL historic event of the 2000 decade!...
“am more happy than I can remember in a long, long time”
And you stay that way cause you have certainly the right to do that...wow Massachusetts will never be the same!!!!
A couple of months ago, I posted that Coakley would make a more beatable candidate than Capuano because MA did not like electing Democrat women to federal office: the state has never elected a female U.S. Senator, and before Niki Tsongas’s (very close) election 2 years ago it had not sent a Democrat woman to Congress since 1970 or so. So, *of course* feminazis are going to blame sexism for Coakley’s defeat. They blame sexism for all of society’s ills (or what they perceive as ills), even when they have no evidence, so given the “evidence” I gave above it would be shocking if they *didn’t* blame sexism for the state’s rejection of Coakley.
BTW, my theory that voters are less likely to elect a liberal woman than a liberal man because the liberal man is better at projecting that he’s not really that liberal (or because voters are more willing to assume that a liberal woman willbe weak on crime, etc.) keeps looking stronger. 2006 saw Democrats win like 80% of winnable races in which they ran a man but maybe 20% of winnable races in which they ran a woman.
That is SO beautiful ... thank you for
those heart rending thoughts put into
words .. magical. You and we can rest
easier tonight .. miracles DO indeed happen.
And tonight, with and through the
indefatigable spirit of good and decent
people, as in days of old, God graced us
with an incomparable blessing, for which
we’re so grateful.
The real work has begun .. God bless you
and us all with peace and confidence, and
hope for tomorrow for our dear America, and
the courage for the days ahead.
FNC is replaying Scott’s speech. I am enjoying every minute of it... again.
Political spin only works if it's somewhat connected to reality. The Dems have utterly failed at even that. What people are referring to as "Democrat spin" these days is complete delusion, and outright fabrication.
Most of it makes no sense at all. Witness the statement tonight that the Massachusetts Senatorial election outcome was a result of the people being angry at the Republicans.
Huh?????
Obama (if he dares) will probably say something equally as mystifying and incomprehensible. We know that Gibbs will....that goes without saying.
It gets better the more times you hear it!

“was a result of the people being angry at the Republicans.”
That same statement was made by Dems (Appearing On Brit Hume IIRC) after a Republican won the California recall election.
They recycle the crazy :)
Rick Lazio has thrown his hat in the NY Governor’s race.
I’m enjoying this, immensely.
He sure is personable.
Final justice for Mary Jo Kopechne, I'd say, wouldn't you?
o_o
I’m watching the speech three hours late due to all the phone calls during the time he was giving it, but I thought his speech was terrific! I didn’t feel it was too long, nor were his jokes gaffes (unless you are of the PC persuasion). I thought he smote those that needed smiting and thanked those that needing smiting. I am thrilled with him.
Our group is now on the move. Next!
Thank you teapartiers! We are VICTORIOUS!
