I think both Ras and Zogby have been using the 2006 and 2008 models. Its had to extrapolate that to a special election. The thing to remember is Coakley is getting only 80% of the Democrats 1% of the Republicans and just a third of the Independents. It will not be enough.

Ras said large turnout in Democratic areas favors Coakley.Yeah, but that's the whole STATE.
Just tweaking. I feel pretty good about this. I'm trying hard not to count any chickens, but I think I hear little bitty shells cracking.

It’s closer to a chat group, but at least it’s live.
I just looked at the Mass. election laws, and absentee ballots require an application (with the deadline being last Friday), and they can’t be returned to the polling places, so I think those posts about someone handing out absentee ballots probably aren’t troubling.

Too bad Claire McCas-Skull in MO is not up for reelection - she and Bambi are joined at the hip.

That would be Boston. The only place she's leading is in Suffolk County. If the bellweather towns had gone for Coakley, I think Zog would be right.

If SEIU and ACORN thugs are out and about, are the people calling the cops at their respective polling places? CALL THE COPS IF THUGS TRY TO INTIMIDATE YOU IN ANY WAY.

I read a short blurb about that yesterday, that there were no models for this election. I think this is why they didn't come out with a weekend poll. And what they said yesterday were opinions based on their own feelings.

I love this painting! Do you know the name of it and the artist? No, but I found it by doing a Google Image search on "shot heard round the world." If you do the same search, maybe you can find info. on the title and artist.

I thought Bob Beckel kept muttering the same thing on Hannity last night, but it was hard to tell since he looked like he was about to curl up in a fetal position...

Early this AM-saw polls taken yesterday showing Indies breaking for Scott 69-28. One of my thoughts yesterday was Ras didn't report his findings because they were so extreme he was afraid they had been manipulated and didn't want to be embarrassed.
Think about it
Indys 69-28
GOP 100% Brown
Dem at least 20% voting for Brown......The figures are going to be staggering (and a big embarrassment for BO)

Or....nod approvingly, vote for Brown, and flip them the bird on the way OUT. That way if they beat the crap out of you, it’s too late.

My polling place had said the same thing. I noticed that, as she said, it was a very busy day at the voting place. Steady stream. She remarked it was a busy morning, and the busier the better. No idea what she meant and didn’t ask, but I agree. Small town in eastern Hampshire County, not sure of the population, but for the first time, I was looking forward to voting, and of course did, for Scott Brown.

They would be Gardner, Fichtburg and Peabody. Their voter registration mirrors statewide demographics. If Brown is going to win big, it will be reflected first in the results in these towns, which will mirror the statewide results.
