Polls are open.
Senate race in Massachusetts comes down to wire Read the article here: http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-mass-senate19-2010jan19,0,6084655.story?track=rss
Sure they are — even if they don’t win in the end they fought a good fight !
Sure is! "Never mind what they say. Watch what they do."
I really, really hope Brown wins by a wide margin just to keep the left from screwing with his victory.
I would assume a couple hours after polls close, so about 2-1/2 hours from now.
No, Shrum said the opposite, that that is what Clinton did, and it worked for him, but that it would be death to Zero to do that. Zero needs to fight harder for his agenda, and convince Congress to get behind him or they'll all go down in flames. His assumption is that the economy will be better in November and they will get credit for it if they do not retreat from their current agenda now.
Yeah, me too. The phrases “too good to be true” and “counting chickens before they are hatched” keep scurrying through my mind.
OH! I AM DEFINITELY STEALING THAT LINE!!!
Ha ha! That is great!
FABULOUS! God bless you guys ... you
are GREAT Americans.
And you’re on Big Government reporting ..
WOO HOO!!
The boys are in town
Coakley’s going down
WOO WOO!
~~~~
WoW .. Chrissy and crew are talking
as if the outcome is all but OVER!
A reporter was asking her about her opposition to a "conscience clause" protecting anti-abortion Catholic ER workers from having to give out the morning-after pill to rape victims, and he asked "But what about religious freedom?" Coakley said they have religious freedom under the law, but maybe they should stay out of the emergency room!
I just lost another one, Luntz growled over his cell phone from a hotel ballroom at Logan Airport. In the last 24 hours, six Coakley voters have dropped out. By contrast, Luntz hasnt lost a single supporter of her opponent, Scott Brown.
The problem isnt money. Theyre getting paid well, Luntz says, probably more than theyre making at their jobs. And they still dont want to do it.
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
Instead, says Luntz, theyre ashamed. They dont want to be on television defending Martha Coakley. Its passé. Its socially unacceptable. I never dreamed Id see Democrats in Massachusetts embarrassed to admit theyre Democrats.
"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find only things evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelogus
That stupid Sheppard Smith was “introducing” the candidates and gave a glowing review of Coakley’s history, but as to Brown, said he posed semi-nude for Cosmo and drives a pick-up truck. Good thing MA voters know more than Smith does.
I had trouble getting on FreeRepublic for the last ten minutes. Anybody else? Are we crashing the system or something?
Allahpundit over at HotAir.com predicts Coakley wins 50-48
Hate this.
Thanks to every MA Freeper who went out to vote for Scott Brown and thus fire another “shot heard round the world”. I am so proud of you guys!
Just a little treat for Andy Taylor fans (I know... Andy Griffith the actor is a lib). It is the Andy discovers America episode.
Start watching at about 3 minutes in. This clip reduced me to tears when I saw it post 11/08. Now I can cry tears of pride for the wonderful people of MA. From the bottom of my heart....thank you for your votes, for standing in the snow holding signs, and for your faith in something I never thought could happen.
I too got a service unavailable signal a few times.
Must admit I stole it from a sign I saw on FR
My other favorite was:
One if my land....
Two if by sea....
Three if the crooks come down from DC!
