This is a fascinating interview of Martha Coakley this morning on a local TV station, focusing mostly on health care. Note how Martha Coakley dismisses the concerns that voters have about health care by claiming the voters are too unfocused, dont really understand this issues involved, etc.
In particular, watch her adamant response to the question about the fact that 61 percent of voters in the Suffolk poll dont think we can afford government-run health care. Are they wrong? the interviewer asks.
They ARE wrong, Coakley practically shouts...

TeaBaggers crush the D-Baggers, pass it on!
Libs - smart?
Bwahahahahahahahah!
They are in politics because there is nothing else that they can do.
Coakley is the Democrat party without makeup.
They’ve bastardized the word.
They are collectivists and elitists, and seek enslavement, not liberty.
Exactly.
The interviewer should have immediately asked her if she has read the House bill and the Senate bill.
Then fired off question pertaining to each. Let’s see if she is “focused” enough to have read the damn thing, much less comment on either one intelligently.
..at least I know Curt Schilling is NOT a Yankees fan!
One of the Dems’ talking points this entire year has been that they know better than the voters do. Our congressman actually came out and said that about his vote on the climate bill!! By the time the health bill came around, HE knew better than to say it again. Time to get rid of the elitist politicians, the limousine liberals.
As a CPA, your comment is what scares me most. Let me give one example of the bureaucratic mind.
I had a corporate client who unexpectedly received a refund check for about $400,000. This was approximately the total amount of the tax due. I called the IRS and spent about 1 hour with them to finally determine the cause of the error was that they entered the clients payment twice.
I explained to the IRS that we will void the check and return it.
The agent then said, I must write a letter describing the error and requesting that the IRS correct their books.
I said, I think you don't understand. You made the error, we pointed it out, you fix it. He kept insisting that we write a letter and finally I explained that "hell would freeze" before I spend my clients money on writing such a letter.
Is this a way to run a business?
Soon to be a hagsbeen.
Isn’t this the same Marcia who said in a recent debate that she didn’t understand the workings of the Senate and would have to learn?
Sure, every politician knows that, when you're down in the polls, just tell the voters they're stupid -- they'll lap it up! LOL!
I’d love it if they ran an TV ad of that one statement over and over and over.
Isn’t this the entire premise of King George?
Lynn Yeakel (sp?), candidate for US senate from Pennsylvania. Couldn't correctly pronounce the name of a county and river in the state. Led to a Rick Santorum victory.
Exactly!
Typical liberal elitist. Only they can be Gods among men. The rest of us are nasty, dirty little animals that need to be corralled and thinned through the nanny state death care bill - "for the greater good" of the herd.
It’s typical of the modern Progressive. THEY know better than us. They are the sophisticated, educated, and informed class. We are just a bunch of dumb follks.
There’s your sign!
Egotistical
