By hook or by crook they’re GOING to pass this abomination.
Bank on it.
The question remains - how much of a fight will our employers and we everyday serfs put up? Will we be brave enough to cancel any and all healthcare policies?
Will the Pubbies be able to stem or reverse the damage after they’ve raped us with two, maybe three years of additional taxes to pay for this abortion?
Keep praying for strength because Cap & Trade is next in the chute!

Jan. 15 (Bloomberg) -- Even if Democrats lose the special election to pick a new Massachusetts senator Tuesday, Congress may still pass health-care overhaul through a process called
reconciliation, a top House Democrat said.
That procedure requires 51 votes rather than the 60 needed to prevent Republicans from blocking votes on President Barack Obamas top legislative priorities. That supermajority is at risk as the Massachusetts race has tightened.

They’re hoping to take the wind of out Scott’s sails.
Dont’ be fooled.
To do this, they’ll have to use the so-called “nuclear option” and that just might cause a REBELLION.

uh..if Brown wins, I have news for you guys. This thing dies, no matter what. What the heck makes you think they’ll have even 51 votes after a result like that? I think it becomes an “every man for himself” moment.
Not only that, it only barely passed the house last time.
The idea that all of these people will fall on their swords for this bill is crazy. Many of them tolled for years and years on local Bds of Ed, city council, and statehouses before earning a trip to Congress.
Never discount blind ambition and self preservation.

Yep. Revolutionary War II and I predict the members of congress that shoved this onto us will be the first casualties.

Does anyone have a list of the “51” or are they all zoned out in Nevada?

I agree. It certainly is exciting to watch.

It’s a naked power grab (not much new there) but this announcement is also an attempt to cool the voter turn-out for Scott.

I agree. They keep fanning the embers and eventually a fire will erupt.
