Other than the stagehands, no one else showed up

Absolutely EXCELLENT! What is your best news source there?

Barack Obama is heading to Massachusetts this weekend in a desperate attempt to save the Senate seat for the Democrats in this Tuesday's Special Election.

This comes as Democrats have just dumped MILLIONS of dollars more into the race. Check out these 24-hour filings from the FEC from Planned Parenthood, the League of Conservation Voters, and big unions:

And that's not all. This news report just out documents some of the millions of dollars that Democrats have dumped into the race this week to defeat Scott Brown. It's astounding.

An email from Ted Kennedy's widow raised $600,000 for the Democrats. MoveOn.org raised another $650,000+. Harry Reid, Chris Dodd & Al Franken raised another $500,000. Democrat committees dumped in excess of $1 million.

You can see it for yourself in the report here:

New York Sen. Charles Schumer, who famously hammered then-Sen. Alfonse D'Amato for calling him a "putz-head" in their hot 1998 campaign, was accused Thursday of stepping into the gutter himself after he sent out a fundraising e-mail in which he called Massachusetts Republican Senate candidate Scott Brown a "far-right tea-bagger."

Boston Herald is ok. michaelgraham.com is pretty good as well. Don’t bother with the Globe.

Hey JustPiper...I've posted a couple of things on the ATRW thread over the last few days. No big deal but they are there.

The FR.com Massachusetts locale site might be of interest to a few. A couple of good links to You Tube there recently.

I have coworkers who seem to me to be mostly for Brown, but most folks do not talk politics at my place. Not around me anyhow. I'd tear them a new one and they know it if they defend Coakley too vigorously. That is, I'd actually use logic and sense against them.

Over on Face Book, I have been quite surprised at the support for Scott Brown. Some people I know have truly surprised me by supporting Scott. Brown supporters are putting his campaign posted as their avatar. I am one of them myself.

I actually know people who know Scott and I know folks from his town of Wrentham.

Right now things are looking up, but it ain't over yet.

One other thing for now....Scott Brown's campaign needs to stop with the telemarketing phone calls. It is a wicked turn off. Somebody needs to pass that on.

Have bookmarked them both, thank you Quag! What can you share on Gov. Deval Patrick. If he is being abandoned for another term, that would be an indicator the trend
