I was helping a couple wirh a paint order one day and the lady was walking around the store with her two little boys, about 6 and 8. All of a sudden she grabbed the kids and started dragging them toward the door. The husband went to see what was wrong, She spotted the display of machetes and cane knives, and didn't want the kids to see them. When he came back he informed me that where they came from things like that were kept under the counter.
This is insanity, idiots like that should be stopped from breeding!

Too bad those kids don’t have some real parents. I imagine when they are instructed to report to the portable extermination wagons that these parents would take their kids there with no question. People like that deserve their fate.

I would have replied, “And where is that? Berkeley, California?”

Here in San Francisco, a friend of mine went to the drug store wearing his NRA cap. A woman with a little girl spotted the cap, and with a look of horror on her face grabbed the girl and said, “Let’s get out of here before somebody gets hurt.”

I grew up in the Northeast, not involved in the gun culture at all. At some point in my early twenties, I decided I would become a gun owner. Years later (early 30s now) I met the lady who eventually became my wife. I remember letting her know the first time she visited my apt. that I kept guns in the house, partly to judge her reaction. When she responded with an enthusiastic “Cool!” I knew I had a keeper.

There was a local K-Mart that kept everything gun related locked up behind the counter. Even such dangerous items as cleaning patches and paper targets.
Must keep dangerous paper and flannel out of the hands of children.
