John McCains top campaign strategist said in an interview Sunday that Sarah Palin was dishonest as the GOPs vice-presidential nominee and that her untruths have done long-term damage to her public image.
There were numerous instances that she said things that were that were not accurate that ultimately, the campaign had to deal with, said Steve Schmidt in an interview broadcast on CBSs 60 Minutes. And that opened the door to criticism that she was being untruthful and inaccurate. And I think that is something that continues to this day.
Speaking of colleges, it is amazing that the GOP never tried to make hay with Obama’s refusal to discuss his college record. They should have gone after this the way the Dims went after Bush’s air national guard records. Or, to take another tact, McCain could have played off his less than distinguished career at the Naval Academy against Obama’s obvious nerdiness. During the debates when Obama talked about foreign policy, he sounded like some graduate student rattling off talking points he had memorized the night before. McCain sounded much stronger on this but he never put the screws on Obama. So many instances where the GOP used the kid gloves when they could have pointed out his callowness, where the cool mask didn’t cover his ignorance. Furthermore, this demeanor is obviously fake. As Limbaugh told us a year ago, this is not a nice guy: he is cold and he is angry, and he hates to be shone up.
Thank you, for lowering my blood pressure from the main story, to your post. Good one!
Schmidt just can’t stand the fact that Sarah is a strong, intelligent woman who pushed back when he pushed her. If they had let her “go rogue” they would have won the electon hands down.
Then you are just simply an asshole.
He’s probably working behind the scenes for Romney. It is early in the election year but i’d say Romney’s not taking any chances.
...but with one redeeming quality, so you are not a total waste of ectoplasm.
made the mistake of having my headphones off at the computer when my wife had it on 60 Minutes after the Packer/Cardinal game ended.

lol.. just get a set of wireless headphones for the TV..
T’was a record setting game, Dang, the Pack almost pulled it off too.. I would have enjoyed another Vike Pack Favre Rodgers meeting too. now its the Cowboys at the Hump Dome and I hope the Cardinals in the nfc final. Payback time. Go Vikes!
This is one Rino we should be sure never works again within the GOP. He should be poison to any Republican individual or group.
You're right!
Sarah had all the right instincts. She carried McCain's pitiful campaign on her shoulders alone.
She was fighting the democrats, the news media and Schmidt, Nicole Wallace and their slimely co-horts.
True that, but that’s a punching bag that illustrates Newton’s 3rd law of motion better than any I’ve seen in a long time, maybe ever. And it’s heavy.
Good to know.
No facts, just another drive by.
I agree with you. The problem is the media it allows the rats to use knives, brass knuckles, guns and even A bombs against Republicans in politics. If the Republicans so much as raise a finger they get branded by the MSM as negative, hostile, etc. The media is part of the propaganda effort by the progressive forces to force change and get their way.
Like any other political website, we have the occasional disruptors and trolls.
Is this referring to the ethics investigation where she got a cop who threatened to kill his wife pushed out???
Seems to me in that situation, “any means neccessary” is more than appropriate to me.
