Those candidates who are looking to run have to be anchored in these principles.... because if they don’t, then they’ll get to Washington, and they’ll start drinking that Potomac River water, and they’ll get drunk with power and throw the steps out the window.
At any rate it seems Steele has tempered his remarks, after a series of gaffes.

Re. drunk with power
Any idea who he is referring to?
Steele started out saying we can't take back the House this year which seems like an inappropriate thing for him to say.

But then Steele suggests the reason why we may not take back the House is because he doesn't want a majority if it includes RINO's.

Steele could have been more positive about taking back the House but Steele seems to be saying that we don't want a majority if it includes RINO's. Isn't that what most of us want?.
With Steele, the old saying comes to mind:
“with friends like this who needs enemies”
Or is he doing a macchiavelian/sun tzu thing? “Never let yor enemies know how strong you really are”
