DSCC: 'Republican Scott Brown is within striking distance' in Mass.
The Washington Examiner ^ | 01/09/10 | David Freddoso

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee seems concerned about the January 19 special Senate eleciton in Massahusetts -- or at least they want donors to think so. From an email today from DSCC executive director J.B. Poersch:

America's future hangs on getting Martha Coakley elected to Ted Kennedy's seat on Jan. 19...American Future Fund, the guys who brought you the Swift Boat attacks against decorated war veteran John Kerry, are up with a $400,000 buy, smearing Coakley. She's being outspent, and a new poll shows that the right wing money is doing the trick. Republican Scott Brown is within striking distance.

You’re right - add that to Teddy’s failures.

I agree. He is definitely an Independent, moreso than Conservative, but, he is campaigning on being the 41st NO vote on healthcare, so, for now, I’ll take it.

Another “principles” fetishist, I see. I assume precious “principles” will just dandy when Reid gets a replacement for his 60th vote?

IF you think this guy is going to stop healthcare from passing...you don’t know the dems that well. This is going to get through no matter what. And a RINO filling the seat ain’t gonna help conservatives in the long run. Did McCain help us? What about Steele? How’s he working out for the Repubs? Promoting a book tour...
