DSCC: 'Republican Scott Brown is within striking distance' in Mass.
The Washington Examiner ^ | 01/09/10 | David Freddoso

Posted on 01/09/2010 6:43:02 PM PST by Dayvester

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee seems concerned about the January 19 special Senate eleciton in Massahusetts -- or at least they want donors to think so. From an email today from DSCC executive director J.B. Poersch:

America's future hangs on getting Martha Coakley elected to Ted Kennedy's seat on Jan. 19...American Future Fund, the guys who brought you the Swift Boat attacks against decorated war veteran John Kerry, are up with a $400,000 buy, smearing Coakley. She's being outspent, and a new poll shows that the right wing money is doing the trick. Republican Scott Brown is within striking distance.

I hope BO campaigns for Coakley in Massachusetts. It will boost Brown’s chances of winning.

RINO....vows to work with democrats...calls himself independent...and believes abortion is a woman’s choice. Let’s not forget our principles...we are conservatives and THAT is who I want in office...NOT someone who vows to work with democrats.

OK. That makes perfect sense. Stand on principle and get Coakley.

Scott Brown was one of those in Massachusetts who fought against mandatory GPS tracking in cars that their governor was pushing. The democrats have been all about taking our freedoms away lately and that’s why his win is so important.

Darn. Not that it means much yet, but long range forecasts are calling for fairly good weather, at least on the 18th. (The 19th not quite popping up on the 10-day forecasts yet.)

Those of you with connections to "The Big Guy" need to get on the line and order up some bitter cold and raging storms for the 19th!

Wait a minute. I'm here in Texas. I'll call Karl Rove myself. ('Spose he can also arrange maximum hype for that night's American Idol, or do the Joooos still control that? I'll beseech my Zionist Master just in case.)

I don’t care who MA gets...Pelosi and Reid have already thought of this scenario...they are going to pass this bill no matter what. Stand on principles, I don’t want another RINO to hold a Senate seat.

So. . . you don’t believe he’ll vote to stop federal funded abortions in the proposed health care bill? He will. The guy has got to get elected. He’s conservative. Come on, don’t take this thing too far and lose to a Kennedy again. He’s smart enough to know the tide has turned, and we the people want conservative principles back in our houses.

I hope we have poll watchers. I hope we are accounting for ACORN’s dead voters and illegal aliens voting. I hope we have actual counts of eligible voters to compare to the number who will actually vote.

This is all that matters now and in November as the Stimulus Slush Fund for Universal Voter Registration has started.

I hope all of us get to make a happy trek to Staples the day after the November election, to get one of those “That Was Easy” buttons.

Actually, we don't have same/day registration/ voting like NH where all of the college kids drive up and skew the election.

This should be interesting. The Libs are running scared and Croakley is no where to be seen.
The Kennedy's are a joke, an embarassing joke

he's not conservative enough for me either, but these are our choices. Besides, I think these guys are getting the message. He may not be the optimum choice to reflect my views either, but I still sent him money. We need this one bad.

Especially if this guy stands up and says he will fight the liberals in the name of his constituents and he wins... this is a huge megaphone to promote our stance. The rest of them are paying very close attention, don't doubt it for one second.

Tell your friend that you can’t be bothered with Bush and the National Guard. It’s an Urban Myth.

Let them know the real problem we’re fighting over is Teddy’s seat, the Teddy who was expelled from Harvard for cheating, the Teddy who spent his time in the service sitting under umbrella’s at taverns in Paris throwing ‘em back, the Teddy who left a woman to drown while he covered his sorry ass.

Ask her to solve that first. Feel free to add to the Teddy List.

What about the Ted Kennedy who asked that the laws be changed (again) to fill his vacant seat? Sheesh.

I’m with you in spirit....but why does he have to VOW to work with democrats? Why is it when a REPUBLICAN finally wins, they have to reach across the aisle. All I see when democrats win are CLOSED DOORS.

I don’t know why, I don’t know why any of them do it, but they are all having an awakening after McCain. And there will be less and less of it. That’s the important thing. If we get him in, he’ll be free to vote conservative on the big issues, including abortion. There’s a huge difference in thinking now as opposed to 2008.
