On the air today, popular radio host Glenn Beck mocked "birthers" and claimed there is a concerted campaign to get those questioning Barack Obama's constitutional eligibility onto the airwaves a strategy Beck said would actually benefit Obama.
"There's always games being played behind the scenes at a talk radio show," Beck said. "Rush has always called them seminar callers. But instead of being coy with the seminar callers or with you, I'm just going to expose the game that is going on. Today there is a concerted effort on all radio stations to get birthers on the air."
"I have to tell you, are you working for the Barack Obama administration?" Beck scoffed. "I mean, that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard."
The ongoing dialogue then spun off into ridicule as Beck caricatured those who question the sitting president's eligibility with straw-man arguments reminiscent of jibes made by Obama's apologists in other news outlets.
Beck defined birthers as people who believe Obama was born in Kenya or other foreign country, was raised as a Manchurian candidate and somehow brainwashed Hillary Clinton into not exposing his fraud. According to Beck's running joke, birthers believe someone maybe Obama's KGB "control" preemptively placed Obama's birth announcement in 1961 Hawaiian newspapers with a "roadmap" of getting an African man into office.
As for Obama producing a long-form birth certificate to actually prove his place of birth, Beck questioned, "Why do that when these people ['birthers'] are so discrediting themselves?"
Get the must-wear clothing item for 2010! "Where's the birth certificate" T-shirt!
The radio host further argued that by distracting the public from actionable issues, "birthers" have become "a dream come true" for Obama, an ideal situation akin to the fantasies of adolescent boys after Hollywood bombshells.

He has never posted anything to promote Conservatism on any other F.R. threads. Last I checked he was up to 210 of such posts, on this subject alone!!
He is ONLY posting distractions comments on the sealed records issues, so he is definitely a hired usurper's "AFTER-BIRTHER" and a 24/7 ZERO-BRIGADE member!!!
Your response is received, and duly noted.
Beck daily reminds both his listeners and viewers to “question...hold...speak”.
But for some reason, us birthers get thrown under the bus. We aren’t supposed to question, hold, or speak, about Obama’s birth.
So, draw your own conclusions.
Okay... I see that “tired_old_conservative” is a one-issue poster... I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before... :-)
So let’s just see; Mr/Ms(??) “AFTER-BIRTHER,” as an educator from the State of Washington and it’s university, you may have skip the three little words - N.B.C.!
And relating to our comprehensive reading skills, I think we can learn more from Mr. Apuzzo, Esq. than from you!!
You may want to improve on YOUR own CRS by checking out this in minute details so that you can grasp the real truth that you want us to know!!!

Sorry, but you did not address it in your post. In fact, you still haven't addressed.
Let me give you another chance:
"What possible motive would granny Toot have to risk a purjury conviction and fraudulantly register her grandson's birth in Hawaii, if there were a simple and perfectly legal means for securing his citizenship if he really were born abroad?"
Can you answer that question? Enquiring minds want to know!
The birther controversy is helping Obama because it allows him to paint all opponents as being kooks. Very helpful indeed.
Am I prescient or what?
Am I prescient or what?
LOL...
It's just that we've all been on these threads for so long that everyone can just about do it all in their sleep.
I mean, you see this kind of thread -- and before you even go in, you know who the players are, what they're gonna say, which way they're going, and so on. It's like it's been scripted for everyone, about 100 times before... :-) and no one is changing their minds.
And so yes, you know and we all know who is going to say what. However, we're not "playing to each other" -- because there's a huge crowd out there who is reading it all (some for the first time, maybe the second time, others for the 100th time) but those others are not posting. They're only reading.
The reason why this issue is going nowhere is not because the Obama Derangement Syndrome crowd is too lazy and not posting enough or not explaining it enough -- no, not at all. They're in there and energetic (too energetic for their own good at times) and all that stuff.
The reason why this is going nowhere for this limited little crowd here -- is that the greater majority of the voting electorate (and "reader" here) simply does not believe it's the kind of issue that some of these posters make it out to be. [you know..., tanks surrounding the White House, a U.S. Marshal knocking on the White House front door with an arrest warrant for Obama, or believing the entire court system and now the military is in cahoots with Obama, since they are not getting him out of there, and now conservative radio hosts in cahoots with Obama, too... LOL...].
And these people who don't believe all this ridiculous stuff are not liberals that we're talking about -- but honest-to-goodness conservatives, and they simply don't believe this junk that they're reading here (or wherever else they may be reading it).
That's why this issue is going nowhere -- no one believes what these guys are posting is "real" -- that is "real in real life" in the way the normal world works -- not in the imaginations of these posters own brains and their fingers on the keyboard.
So, we're all consigned to our little positions here, posting away, day-in and day-out... LOL...
As my grandmother used to say, "It's a great life as long as you don't weaken...."
The birther controversy is helping Obama because it allows him to paint all opponents as being kooks. Very helpful indeed.
AND..., I'm helping conservatives by painting "Obama Derangement Syndrome" types -- as a little backwater corner, over in the dillusioned conservative corner, who happened to have temporarily gone insane -- while the vast majority of conservatives don't dwell on it. They are out there fighting the real fight, with the politics involved and the legislation being proposed and looking towards winning in the next election.
Yes, it would help Obama, if he is able to paint "all conservatives" as in the same ball park as the Obama Dernagement Syndrome crowd.
But, I'm not going to let Obama do that...
I'm letting people know (and see...) that this is no more than something like a tiny little dog, running around in circles, yapping at everyone's heels and hoping someone will listen to them... that's all it is... LOL...
The vast and overwhelming majority of conservatives definitely did not like the last election at all (I know I sure didn't) -- but they didn't "go insane" in the process of losing the election...
Obama would have to say birthers are kooks first. Americans are wise to obama’s party calling all opposition names, such as racists etc.
Recently I've become somewhat obsessed with debunking birthers. Not sure why, but I find it somewhat addictive.
Please, dear God..., tell me this is not some kind of symbiotic relationship going on here... (and I'm talking about myself here, too...) ... LOL...
The Hawaiian official did just what you said, and then defied Hawaii's Office of Information Practices statue which required that she provide information to support her claim. Chicago politics has triumphed in Hawaii. They are, and will likeley remain, in violation of their own laws. Many petitions were filed with the OIP, which the Hawaii Department of Health has chosen to ignore, though one key official resigned (coincident with some millions of dollars of federal money for new health projects).
You are correct. The Republican didn't object, because he too didn't satisfy the “jus soli” requirement. He did provide his long form certificate. He was born in Colon, not on the Coco Bolo, or such has been asserted. But were he born in Canal Zone, "McCain was born in the Canal Zone in 1936. Although he is now a U.S. citizen, the law in effect in 1936 did not grant him citizenship at birth. Because he was not born a citizen, he is not eligible to the office of president." (I will resist the impulse to quote the reasoning from the excellent Gabriel Chin analysis in his paper "Why Senator John McCain cannot be President". The Republicans, as with many insults to our republic, are complicit. Because they all respected McCain's service, they chose not challenge. There were three law suits which died in district courts for lack of standing. But McCain still had a problem. Had anyone brought up Obama’s problem you know the scream would have been “You've overlooked the white candidate's problem and attacked Obama because of his skin color!”
If we still want a nation of laws, and not one based upon popular sentiment, Obama must be held to the laws. The evidence was provided by Obama himself.
You are observing the right inconsistencies. We are not a nation governed by the sentiments of “the general public (the wide body of the voting electorate)”. This is precisely why our founders specified a representative government based on an almost immutable foundation of laws - almost because the process of changing those laws, constitutional amendment, is exhaustive by design.
No logical explanation? Wouldn't a long-form birth certificate listing a non-citizen as his father and/or stating that he was born outside the US more than enough of a logical reason for going to such expense and extremes to keep the BC under wraps? After all, if he released the incriminating documentation showing he was constitutionally ineligible to be POTUS, he likely would be out of the White House in short order, and could face criminal charges of fraud.
In three letters, that threat is spelled FCC.
Gee, that’s terrific. Maybe you could give us a link to that statement on the official letterhead of the state of Hawaii. I don’t think that we’ve actually seen that here.

In McCain's case, Vattel's "Law of Nations" provides an exception to the "in the country" criteria, for those born "in the armies". It treats them the same as diplomats. They haven't really left the country in sense, since while they are outside of it, they are also serving it. So, McCain meets the Law of Nations criteria for "natural born citizen" and he would even if he were born in Colon Panama, rather than on the Coco Solo Naval base inside the Canal Zone.

Sure, that's no problem. I posted it several times before, so I'll go back and look up my posts and find it and post it again. And yes, many have seen it here on Free Republic, because I posted it directly from the official State of Hawaii government website and on their official letterhead and stationary, in the same place with all their other official statements and pronouncements on state business.
But, you apparently didn't see it, or hear about it.
I'm surprised you missed it the first time... :-) I'll have it for you shortly, as soon as I look back through my posts...
