WOW Jeff, that is great news!! God bless you and your family.
Go Jeff! Keep it forward!
That is such wonderful news, Jeff. You are making amazing progress!
God bless your every need on this difficult journey.
Prayers of thanksgiving for the blessings you are receiving, and continued prayers of supplication for your strength, ongoing progress and complete well-being.
Good to hear from you Jeff, and thank God for your progress.
In rehab yesterday I walked 160 ft using a walker. The good Lord has blessed me thus far with a remarkable healing, though it has been very hard and very painful, and though there are weeks to go yet. Thanks to all who have prayed for us, encouraged us and helped us. May the blessings of a merciful Father in Heaven extend to you all, even ten fold. I will try and write again as I can.
“May the Lord God bless thee and keep thee.”
While I was in the middle of that walk yesterday, Gail returned from supposedly mailing a father’s day present to her dad and she got back late...but what she was really doing was bringing Jeff and Jolene (Jeff’s wife) from the airport where they had used some of their savings to come see me for my birthday and father’s day!
I unashamedly bawled like a baby right there in the hall. I cannot explain, after going through this experience, with more yet to come, how great it was to se them ! how I love my family and thank God for each and every one and long to see them all again soon, the good Lord willing.
BTW, today, my birthday, in rehab I went 300 ft!
BTW, they do have a marathon in Houston.
Have the best Father's Day ever!
Jeff, what an excellent birthday present, and for having a loving family around you. Continued thanks and prayers for your healing.
Happy Birthday, Jeff! And thanks for sharing the good news about your progress. You’ll keep making more, one step at a time, and remember, every step is a step closer to getting back home!
Best wishes to you, Gail and Becki.
Prayers will continue to go up...
With such magnificent family support, and the grace of God, there can be no question you are going to win this battle.
Hang in there.
Happy Birthday! Special congrats on the 300 ft.!
What a birthday and father’s day blessing to have loved ones around you as you celebrate these things!
Prayers continue for your ongoing progress, healing, and complete well-being. Each success brings you closer to being well enough to be home with family and friends. That is our prayer. God bless your every need.
A belated Happy Birthday...almost belated Happy Father’s Day...and praise the Lord for answered prayers!
You are one awesome dude...and so is He!
It's delightful to hear about your progress; your great strides, coming so swiftly, are nothing short of miraculous! Thanks so much for the uplifting updates. Keep 'em coming! You're living, breathing, talking and walking TESTIMONY to the power of divine intervention and healing through prayer. Your enormously gifted surgeons are his vessels. And he picked the best!
Thanks again, my friend, and hang in there because we're all pulling for you!

((((((((((hugs)))))))))) back@cha! :-)
I’m so happy to hear you are continuing to recover well. What a wonderful, heart-warming surprise to see your son and his wife!
My prayers continue as always. I can’t tell you how good it is to see you ‘around’ here at FR! :)
Yipee! I am amazed at how fast you are moving along. I know it doesn’t seem quickly to you, but it is! God is good!
Great news. My hospital release is tomorrow! followed by out-patient therapy at Tirr, one of the top rehab facilities in the nation! The rehab Dr. here at MD Anderson did his residency there & our friend, Dustin Morgan, who is also a nurse here in the ICU, suggested it. He was guided by the Spirit to do so, because the Dr. here immediately latched onto the idea, and got it set up within hours.
They’ll focus up to 5 days a week & 4 hours a day on my specific needs and the insurance has already approved up to 50 visits at this very prestigious and hard to get into facility. My initial review with them is Friday w/rehab starting early next week. Although my co-pay for these visits is rather high at $75.00, I believe we have it covered enough to take advantage of this up to 6 weeks before coming home to Idaho.
What a blessing. Thank you all for your continued prayers because they continue to miraculously reveal God’s Hand in this for His own purposes. I’m just glad I’ll get to spend more time with my dear wife, my kids, & those precious grandkids.

Thank you my friend...I am still learning how to walk again, but we are making slow, steady progress, and are on the right track.
Thank you personally for all your help you did there on the donation thread...that help continues to get us through.
God bless you and everyone who has helped in any way...prayer, encouragement, faith, leave, donations...I remain amazed, overwhelmed, and thankful beyond measure.
