Their names make them sound like Egyptian Copts, the orginal and authentic Eqyptians who make up almost 33% of Egypt (unofficially) and are Christian and heavily prosecuted.

I have friends who are Egyptian Copts and they still have family over there; it is a very dangerous place for them, but they are elderly and want to stay in their homeland.
(and the medical care over there is awful he tells me...that’s the other reason he wants his parents to move here)

I think Coptic Christians make up about 10 percent-—I wish it were 30 percent.

And yes, they are being persecuted horribly by the Egyptian Muslims. Then again wherever Muslims exist, they persecute non Muslims. It is their creed to do so...like a pact with the devil
