Links today very interesting indeed, Memri has video (#2322) of Shite Woman dedicating their infants to Jihad....Very large group with children smiling and saying they will carry on Jihad. Indeed culture of death from the cradle to the grave.
Took me a very long time understanding how and why these woman allow themselves to be used as incubators for the future warriors of Islam Jihad. They do not see children as we do by any means.
Examining indoctrinations of Islam helped me to accept why God told the Israelites to destroy the people, woman and children as well. That was a tough one to accept! But when you look closely at Islams movement, and that which this video, among many depict, I can understand better God's wisdom...and if it still disturbs me greatly that woman of Islam do this to their children..how much more is God affected.
Not sure if I can mention God here, hummm.. well I'm sure someone will advise me soon enough.

First, apologies for disappearing. 2009 started really badly for me, my mother died unexpectedly and that threw me for a loop for much of the year.. not an excuse per se but hopefully people can understand.
Things have been good recently. I got a new job at work and am doing heavy research on Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq. I am expecting to have a co-authored piece published in the NYT this Sunday on the subject, so be on the lookout!
I am in Florida with my dad for the holidays, but will try to check back in from time to time. Trust me, you all have been on my mind when things have come up recently. I have just been scared to make my return after running off.
