HONOLULU -- Conservative radio talk host Rush Limbaugh was rushed to a Honolulu hospital on Wednesday afternoon with chest pains, sources told KITV.
Paramedics responded to the call at 2:41 p.m. at the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
Limbaugh suffered from chest pains, sources said. Paramedics treated him and took him to Queen's Medical Center in serious condition.
He was seen golfing at Waialae Country Club earlier this week. The country club is next to the Kahala Hotel and Resort.
The radio show host had been in the islands during the holidays. Coincidentally, his visit comes at a time when two of the nation's most powerful Democrats, President Barack Obama and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, are also staying in Hawaii.
Prayers for Rush. May he regain his health. This nation truly needs him.
Thank God!
“...agnostic prayers.”
Your not the only one.
“He was on AM79 on an hour delay.”
Yes, WMC is where I first listened, but the black program director dumped the program. I think WMC then went into the toilet. Stupid is as stupid does.
WREC jumped on it and grew into the top station in the market,
for news and talk.
This is such sad news. I pray he’s okay.

Obviously thinks it’s funny.
I’ve tried to talk to Libs in a calm and rational manner, without getting insulting, but I can honestly say it’s not possible. Even when you choose to let today be a new day, they can’t forget you disagree with them and basically right you off, talking to you but treating you like a leper. Liberalism really IS a false religion in itself, and one that has no tolerance for anyone who disagrees with them.
Left heart catheterization.
Won't be routine anymore, in just a few years.
Do you all know that Medicare is disallowing consultations (one doctor seeing another doctor's patient) effective Friday, January 1, 2010? Billing codes for inpatient and outpatient consultation have been eliminated, last appeals denied - 25 hours left for consults on Medicare patients in the Eastern Time Zone, then - no more.
At first, they will allow the consultant to bill for "regular care", instead of "consultation". But, you bet your bottom dollar, within 6 months you will see articles about "surging fraud", where two or more doctors are billing "for the same service".
What we now think of as routine and normal will be far from it in just a few years - maybe it won't even take that long.
Good thing this happened to El Rushbo now.
It is nonsense from an idiot leftist.
Prayers for Rush’s health and fast recovery. Take it easy, big guy...
Oh altura! I didn;t see this thread until I left another thread and then I was so shocked and saddened my mind went blank and I couldn;t think of everyone I wanted to ping. So many of us LOVE Rush and we’re worried sick about him.
I know your Mister came through fine and Rush will too, IF he’s had an attack, but right now all we know is that he had chest pains and the paramedics took him to the hospital, where he was admitted and where he remains.
I’ll stay up all night praying, altura. God speed, dearest friend.
(((CC27))) Me toooooo...
I hhope he is wrong. That would really ruin my day.
Thanks...hugs all around.
Well, I do hope they know what they are talking about.
You lighten up It was a stupid ass post
I’m a physician.
If this truly was a cardiac event, if Rush has goten this far..I’d say his chances for a complete recovery are pretty good.
If I said what I wanted to say , the moderators would delete this post , too .
STOP THESE POSTS! I DONT NEED TO SEE THEM!
I, too, am blurry with tears.....many of have listened to Rush regularly for 20 years and have invested so much of our love and faith in him. He's like a big brother, or a favorite cousin.
What an electrifying shock to get this news a while back.....it left me profoundly agitated. However, I'm taking great comfort in all the calming thoughts, hopes, wishes and prayers flooding these FR threads.
Now, thanks to the Lord, it looks like Rush is "stable".....a most welcome word, indeed. Tomorrow I look forward to "much improved", "resting comfortably", "out of danger", "walking around a little"......and "joking with the pretty nurses".
