Johnston said he didn't want to hurt or embarrass his son -- or Bristol. He thinks Sarah Palin, not Bristol, is acting with "sheer malice," Butler wrote in a court filing.
"He feels Sarah Palin, through her lawyer, under the guise of Bristol Palin's name, would run roughshod over his very bones," Butler wrote."

In Sarah’s book, she was asked at a debate what she would do if one of her daughters came up pregnant. She said that she would try to talk her into adoption.
She should have tried harder.

Levi’s constant attempts to garner publicity and his posing for nude photos puts the lie to this: “There’s no evidence either of the young parents is unfit, his lawyer, Rex Butler, wrote in a court filing.”
This type of case is always heard in private.

The mother can't unilaterally put the child up for adoption. If the low-class father wanted to keep the baby, there is nothing the mother can do to sever his parental rights. So adoption wasn't an option in this case.
Thank you. That’s what I always thought. This is not going to be pretty. Bristol Palin shouldn’t have had to “prove” that an open hearing would hurt the child . . . common sense should have informed the judge of the truth of that.
Oh, because this no-load, sperm donor has some lib judge on his side and this circus is going to be public, Palin’s daughter should have given up the baby for expediency’s sake? What a crappy way to look at things...IMO, it’s NOYB!
This spoiled brat is hoping for more publicity, I don’t think he cares how it will ultimately affect the baby, nor for that matter his own mother. He want attention and cares not how he gets it.
That said, I hope Levi is humiliated.
Well, maybe this mother should, but let's not forget the real rotten mothers like Susan Smith (R.I.P. her children) and others, either.
