A Muslim spokesman was interviewed on Fox this AM. When asked if he thought that full-body scanners at airports would improve security, he replied that Muslims would never stand for them because they would show the bodies of Muslim women. The interviewer let that pass without any protest.
The guy at Christmas was attending a top engineering school. So were some of the previous terrorists.
ACLU does not like body scanners either.
They show bags of drugs and bundles of cash.
No, seriously, ACLU has issues with detecting stuff that can’t harm a plane.
But, a bag of PETN looks just like a bag of heroin, so no body scanners!

He who sacrifices freedom for security deserves neither. Full body scanners should only be used if there are mitigating circumstances, such as a person who sets off the metal detectors or who pays for his ticket in cash, is on a watch list or who doesn’t have a passport. Forcing people who do not fit any profile to submit to what is essentially a computerized strip search is beyond the pale.
Oh, and as for your trite little comment above, some people have already purchased tickets, unrefundable tickets, to fly in the future. Herding American citizens who are not threats to anyone through these scanners does NOT insure safety.
Do you drive? Ride in other people’s cars? You might get in a wreck and die. How come you’re willing to personally take that risk, but are perfectly willing to disregard other people’s rights for some perceived idea of “safety” on an airplane?
I will allow a body scan if it means no Muslims are flying. That’s what I call compromise.
My reasoning was the obvious lukewarm support from what had been considered so called friends in the moderate muslin world. That has not changed, and our PC society/government will not come to grips that it is the intent of the muslim faith to destroy everyone who is not a muslim.
We will regret that strategy in the end.

You know what, Im sick of all this. Every time some cook of a moon-loon tries to blow up a plane, some new strictures come up. The govt needs to figure out a way to provide security WITHOUT inconveniencing 100% passengers 100% of the time!
Muslims: We won’t stand to be impeded in our plans to blow up Americans.

Integrity and decency don’t by themselves propagate the species. That, my friend, takes lust.
Perhaps for you. For me it only took love. I regard sex outside of love, stealing—enjoying a pleasure one has not earned. Why would someone desire what they have not earned. I told you it has to do with values. I have two sons, seven grandchildren, and a great grandson.
