Where does it say the kids were Amish?

I bet it didn’t have anything to do with the Amish. The ones I’ve met when I was in Lancaster PA were pretty nice.

“Where does it say the kids were Amish?”

Welcome to this part of FR, its a bit of a house joke.

As in:

Wait until the Amish start drive-by shootings! (Oh, wait a minute...never mind.)

‘Amish’ is FR code for ‘Muslim’...

The Amish gotta be watched. They are prime suspects in every act of terrorism that occurs. It’s the religion of peace, ya know.

It’s all a big front.

And that Quaker Oats guy?

Subliminal messages.

When id doesn’t say what background the perps come from, we say Amish because so often it someone VERY different from the Amish.

"Where does it say the kids were Amish?"

Believe me, if they had been Amish, it would have been in the headline and mentioned eight times in the article. When there is no mention whatsoever, certain assumptions can safely be made.

It’s always the Amish. Especially the Yoder clan, they’re the worst.

Folks know it’s usually black kids...saying Amish is pure sarcasm.

That’s all.

It reflects ho the media rarely says if it’s blacks considering most newsrooms are so left and so over minority represented.

But they howl if the perps are crackers.

Where does it say the kids were Amish?

While the article doesn't specifically identify the teens as Amish, the video of the outraged mother kind of gives it away when she says, "Why they go after my kid just cause he got dreadlocks, baggy britches and tattoos?"
