["The fainthearts at DU are already blaming Bush."]
Of course they are. The same idiots who were screaming for their release, closure of the prison and granting constitutional rights for the terrorist scum for the better part of eight years are suddenly hardliners.
They're imbiciles who couldn't be trusted to properly butter toast.

IF this story is true, the jihad freaks were released (probably in handcuffs) into SAUDI custody. Hence, it would be a SAUDI problem.(not Bush's fault) And, I'm sure that Bush's Saudi "friends" gave him their solemn word that the perps would be handled.

Well, Bush was the one who let them go after the Saudis promised him that they would “rehabilitate” them.

Wow. It is simultaneously both naive and arrogant to think that “art therapy” will heal, cure, or otherwise rehabilitate someone who is inclined to mass murder with a bomb strapped to themselves.

Bush did call Islam the “religion of peace”. Perhaps he should have also called it the “religion of art.”

I was just thinking of our Bermuda boys today. I believe they were also being sent to “art therapy.” Or maybe it was “music therapy.”
Actually, since Islam frowns on both music and art, maybe the therapists just gave up and sent them directly to Yemen.

His administration also refuses freedom of information requests regarding the number of released Gitmo prisoners who have returned to terrorism. The number is alleged by some Congressmen to be outrageous.
What happened to liberals protecting the right of the people to know?
