Anyone heard what the seat number was of Sunday’s incident??

Thanks for that add’l info.
Any US official or commentator who hastens to give the perps cover is a disgrace. They should keep their mouths shut, let the perps fill in the details.
I pray for competence and common sense to rule the day in this and other situations (please God!). There’s just way too much at stake.

He may be in custody, but that does NOT mean he has been arrested.
See my post 372. According to that article, he was formally arrested.

Remember, Clinton, et al, treated terrorism as a law enforcement issue which lead to 9/11. Pres. Bush was blamed for it. Now, Obama, et al, are doing the same thing and Pres. Bush is still blamed for it.
LIBERALS are never responsible for anything and refuse to accept responsibility for it.
Pres. Bush was only in office for nine months when 9/11 happened but Obama has been in office for almost a year and he is still blaming Pres. Bush for everything!
News Interrupts Obama's Hawaii Vacation
The president sprung into action. Within an hour of the attempt to ignite a fiery substance on the plane, he held a secure telephone conference call with his national security staff in Washington and was fully briefed on the situation.

One of his basketball partners today was his national security chief of staff, so you could say that even while relaxing, he's always close to his top aides.

Obama is BUSY!
No photos ALLOWED of the vacation though. He doesn't want anyone to see him vacationing while the unemployment rate is 10% and taxpayers are hurting to pay their bills!
In other words, screw you, HE WON!

Rolling bullets on plane in Sacramento still a puzzle.
By Cathy Locke -- clocke@sacbee.com
Published: Sunday, Dec. 27, 2009 - 9:40 am | Page 5B
How loose bullets ended up on a Sacramento-bound airline flight earlier this week remains a mystery.
Passengers who arrived in Sacramento on a US Airways flight Tuesday were escorted off the plane by security personnel after being told that bullets had been found on the aircraft.
Passenger Elisabeth Turner, a former Sacramento resident now living in New York City, considered the incident bizarre at the time. But Turner, who is visiting family in Elk Grove for the holidays, found it more alarming following news reports that a passenger set off an explosive device aboard a Northwest Airlines flight as it prepared to land in Detroit on Christmas Day.
Turner said she boarded US Airways Flight 365 in Phoenix on Tuesday. When the plane pulled up to the gate in Sacramento, she said, passengers were asked to remain seated because of a security breach. A Sacramento County sheriff's deputy came on board and explained that two bullet casings had been found on the plane.

I think they're trying to give themselves cover, just in case he is an innocent businessman traveling the same flight as the underwear bomber only 48 hours later, carrying no luggage, spending an hour in the bathroom, and then becoming irate when the door is broken down. A "businessman" should have been savvy/knowledgeable enough to realize his actions would cause great concern, not become aggressive.

interesting thought, but I don’t think he even needs to have anything provable... just “I wasn’t feeling well.”
SURE ENOUGH, who ever said this upthread, I just heard one of CNNs “experts” saying basically that this perp may just have “needed to go” and that we can expect to see more such disruptive passengers who are quite upset after being told that they cannot get up and go to the br within an hour of landing (WHO CAME UP WITH THAT screwball new rule, anyway... nitwits).
So the apologists continue. I’m not surprised, just disappointed.

Im not surprised, just disappointed Indeed. One would hope that the media would do it's job and inform the American people during a national security crisis. But.....alas! Their number one priority is covering obama's pathetic ass no matter the issue.

Well, it seems he may be "unarrested" soon. From ABC,
Food Poisoning Blamed In Second Northwest Flight 253 Bomb Scare
"A second scare of a possible bomb on Northwest Airlines flight 253 Sunday was the result of a passenger who refused to come out of the bathroom because he was sick with food poisoning, law enforcement officials told ABCNews.com.
FBI agents and local police swarmed the plane as it landed in Detroit after the pilot reported an "belligerent and uncooperative" passenger who had spent more than an hour in the bathroom as the flight neared Detroit.
Authorities said the passenger was a 36-year old Nigerian petroleum engineer who became unhappy to be ordered to his seat one hour before landing, as required under new in-flight rules following the attempted Christmas day bombing of the same flight by another Nigerian citizen. "...........
.................."Officials gave an "all clear" message a short time later after interviewing the Nigerian passenger and determining he was, indeed, ill.
The Nigerian accused of attempting to blow up Northwest flight 253 on Christmas Day, Farouk Umar Abdulmutallab, told investigators he was part of a "larger plot" and that he believed there were other potential bombers set on similar missions on American aircraft, according to law enforcement officials."
