The level of incompetence of this WH staff is really of great concern to me.After 8 years of the adults in charge we have a BS artist for pres and a bunch of cronies and political hacks in control. Anybody who voted for this joker has done a great disservice to the USA. At least Hillary had a clue.

Actually in real life if nowhere near medical help you urinate on the burn. Reduces pain and puts a “skin” on it faster.
Apparently, if I remember correctly, urine is alkaline.
If you touch something hot with your fingers (without a real burn) grab your earlobe to quickly reduce pain.

The only changes really needed in airport security are those that begin with the Homeland Security and TSA own decision making per their internal MO's. How about we make THESE folks in charge, uncomfortable, rather than our paying a price for their incompetence?
