I would advise all of the Tea Partiers out there to go out and rent or borrow a DVD of Frank Capra’s “Meet John Doe” over the holidays. Not only for its Christmas theme, but to be on alert as to how dark and powerful forces will no doubt try and subvert the Tea Party movement to gain power.

America didn’t have a MTV, Food stamp, welfare, whats in it for me, toothless culture in 1943.

This is a whole different ball game this time around and it is on our own soil.

Our option are few at this point.

I am yet to see any elections, where the Republican candidate was solidly ahead in the Rasmussen polls and the Democrats solidly behind, where the Republican turned round and lost the elections.

Best example I can think of is Bill Clinton in 1993 vs "Republican challenger". We had that won until we picked Bob Dull. Same thing may happen again with the current Republican leadership.

What’s really scary is all of these security lapses involving unauthorized people getting near POTUS. You know that’s not the doing of Secret Service. This is starting to smell incredibly rotten. Pray for the safety of the President (I’m not kidding about that at all).

Absolutely agree.

I agree. I think some Freepers are a bit too optimistic about the state of our voting populace.

Agree anybody with brains should have seen what he was in 2008

They were bamboozled by the MSM in 2008 and unless they start watching FOX it will happen again

Oh really? Watching TV right now? You are living in a dream world, pal - elections DO have consequences....”

Really?
Now why don't you show me the public option in that Senate heathcare bill?
The Democrats supposedly control everything in Washington, no?
And 0bozo and Pelosi swore the public option was not negotiable right from the start of the year.
So where is it at in the Senate helath care then?
And what happened to all the jihad aginst “the evil insurance companies” by Pelosi, Redid and 0bozo then?
Right now, the Senate bill is a total surrender to the insurance companies, who are one of the biggest winners in that bill.
0bozo can get “whatever he wants “ huh?
DON'T MAKE ME LUAGH!

So? He won and will be president for another three years. So shut up unless you want a visit from Obama’s National Civilian Army (they’re already making the uniforms and buying more Beretta 92s)!

Not saying you are wrong, but please cite your source for this.

I will try not to make you LUAGH (?) but if you think the “public option” is NOT in the bill in some other form, you - again - are purposely IGNORING reality! Why ELSE would they want this?????? Have you NOT HEARD all the aside comments from ALL the libs AND the prez that they want universal healthcare? Do you think that they will “wait” until they get MORE PEOPLE behind it before they can pass it again? It’s now or never for them - they know it and PUBLIC OPTION is IN THE GD BILL!!!!!!

This result, by itself, does not indicate a one-term presidency.

But you also should take into account Obama’s own admission that this health care bill may cause him to be a one term president AND the results of the Orly case that will assuredly bring the birth certificate into play the very minute that Obama files papers to run for re-election.

There is no basis on which the economy could recover in the short term. And if this bill fails (unlikely) people will still remember what he tried to do.

While it is true that he has the MSM in his back pocket, it is also true that the MSM is losing customers in large numbers.

Voter fraud will be a factor, but I think the videotapes will limit ACORN’s effectiveness to less than a 2-3 point bump for the democrats.

If the DNC see dismal numbers for Obama that cannot be beaten with voter fraud, I don’t think they’ll allow him to run. They won’t risk the presidency. I think there’s a better than 50-50 chance he won’t even try to run for another term and there’s a 75% chance that he won’t be president for a second term (run or not run).

46% strongly disapprove. That’s 46% that will NEVER vote for Obama.

Not really - this includes a lot of disenchanted liberals of the Olberdung kind - who are upset that the Kenyan pimp is not more liberal. I am afraid they will "come home" when he makes a strong liberal plea...

Too bad he still has the power to pass things like Healthcare. I don’t usually comment on these polls but this is unexpectedly enjoyable. I am pleased. I want to see - 30 now. Keep sliding. I’m hoping this last well past 2012

But I also think BO and his machine are in long-term planning for voter fraud, "stimulus" payoffs for votes, and other sleazy deals....stay tuned.

I think more people are seeing Obama for the sleezeball he is.

“Yes he will and with Acorn, SEIU, UAW, NEA, NFT, AFL-CIO, He will “win”.

Ummm.where were all these outfits you keep talking about that were supposed to “win” mt for the Democrats in last month’s new Jersey/Virgina elections then?
NJ was a “toss up” according to the last polls going into the elections. If they couldn’t steal an election that was a “toss up”, what makes you think they can steal other elections, with 0bozo’s strongly disapprove at a massive 46% after just one year?

*******************

I like your optimism, SmokingJoe, and I agree with it. I get so tired of how so many Freepers seem to always want to preach doom and gloom no matter how good the news may be. This latest Rasmussen polls shows more Americans now HATE Obama more than ever! If Americans are THIS angry with the Marxist only 11 months after his inauguration, just imagine how bad things are going to be for him and his radical communist party by next November!

Obama is being rejected like a bad organ transplant from the body American.

We can undo what this putz has done, keep fighting!

A conservative revolution can come from this if we keep fighting!

It took a Carter to get a Reagan.

I think some Freepers are a bit too optimistic about the state of our voting populace.

What we need to do is stop whining about the college kids and vigorously and enthusiatically go after their vote. This is a major opporutnity for us to get young people over to our side. We need to hit college campuses across the country. We have to let them know how screwed they are. How they are going to be forced to buy healthcare at the highest premiums on top of paying student loans in an economy with no new jobs being created for them. They need a reality check and the tea partiers are just the folks to do it. They will identify with us. We are no different than their moms and dads and grandparents.

HE DOESN’T CARE....he wants to ruin this country...if he just serves 1 term, he will go down as the greatest Democratic(socialists) President in history....they will build statues of him. The liberals will worship at his feet. He will go off into the sunset making ‘billions’ like Gore...
